  1. Well...this is all news to me. I stopped watch 2 seasons ago. I just couldn't take it anymore. Way too many inconsistancies in all areas of the show. It got to be that the Talking Dead segments were more entertaining than the show. And that was just too much for me, so I left.
  2. Sorry, I guess I'm just a suspicious and devious minded person. A bit down this morning and that was my first thought.
  3. Interesting...but would you be a bit self-serving having your first post promoting your own video?
  4. You have much more guts than I do to make a statement like that. It would be a total lie from me. lol
  5. Well...now I can see them. lol Looks very good. I like the grips too.
  6. Wish I could see the pics. Sounds interesting. Never had a Makarov. What am I missing?
  7. Yes, rub salt into the wounds. lol I had a Beretta 8045 some years back. Absolutely great pistol. I foolishly let a parts manager on my route see it. Bugged me until I sold it to him. Many regrets on that one. Almost as many as letting Smith have my/his 40 BHP back. lol I think you'll be amazed with this pistol.
  8. You sir, are a man of impeccable taste and a fine example of sartorial elegance!
  9. The issue here is really simple...who decides what is 'reasonable precautions and properly installed safe". That is the crux of the matter. I believe we all secure our valuables in some fashion. Most here would use a safe. But having a politician, especially a gun control liberal, dictate the method is not acceptable to me.
  10. Likeee. Very much.
  11. I agree with nightrunner. They may be somewhat dated, but still good pistols. I've had 9,40, 357sig, and 45 in them at different times. All ran well with about anything I put in them. I still have the 357sig model. It's a little cannon. lol
  12. I will be ordering at least one of these bags for car/truck use. Thanks for posting this link.
  13. Never used any S&B rifle rounds, but I can truthfully say I've shot thousands of rounds of S&B pistol in 9/40/45 without a problem...ever. I will buy it over many others when I find it at case lot prices.
  14. She's beautiful, Doug. Got soulful, almost sad eyes in the pic. Looks like she needs a good, loving home. I think she's found it.
  15. Shot one once. Once.
  16. Am I that transparent? lol Probably right. I've seen a few higher and lower that interest me, the old Raptor; now Radian(or something like that); but I know just enough about names and parts to be dangerous. And not on the good side of that.
  17. Me too. I saw this ad earlier today, but I guess I have in the back of my mind that I want another(or 2) BCM Mod 4s. I have a Gunfighter on a carbine and really like it. Does it do a better job than any other...I can't say. But I do like the feel more so than a standard c/h. Just me. But since I'm trying to be thrifty...I don't know which way I'll go yet. I'll continue to watch the year end sales and see what shows up.
  18. Amen brothers! What's considered to be "political correctness" and far left "teaching" is destroying this once great and proud country. And while I'm on my soapbox...the proliferation of cell/smart phones and the constant use of them by children, young and old, does more for the dumbing down than many realize. JMO
  19. Already been said, many times, many ways...Merry Christmas to you. lol Seemed appropriate for that self-bought present. It's awesome.
  20. That's what I'd hoped to hear. When looking at different brands, I've had to question the pricing of them. I have noticed that the 7075 seemed to be the material used in the big name brands, but the further I looked, it appeared to be the same with some of the lower priced models. I do hate to put 60-100 bucks into a charging handle just for the name if that's all I'm getting for the extra cost. Granted, I do have a couple of BCM Gunfighters on rifles I bought already build, and they seem really nice. But couldn't understand the rationale behind the pricing.
  21. Just a question tonight for those more educated than me on this subject. When it comes to charging handles, do you go with the big name guys with the big price tags? Or do you go with the 20+/- models? Thinking of trying my had at a couple of builds, and would like some advice. Thanks.
  22. Willis...is this you trying to drum up some business? lol Seriously, let me recommend our very own willis68. He not only sells knives but sharpens them as well. And does a great job!
  23. Quite the little dickens is he? lol Don't worry, he will have you trained in no time at all. Good to see you made a fine selection.
  24. JMO here. I've tried buying guns at Bass Pro. Never went well or smoothly. Always slow. And as you said, it seemed that the majority of the clerks needed to be taught what the buying/selling process entailed. Oh and try to get a clerk...to come off break or stop his conversation with others behind the counter. I don't bother to go there anymore except for my winter long sleeve shirts.
  25. The gun cabinet is nice, but I don't have room for it. Getting an old curio cabinet of wife's family that will take our wall space.
