I don't know about the rest of you...but I don't own any Assault Rifles. A few modern sporting rifles, but none of those evil ones that lurk in the shadows and fire indiscriminately at people. Hope his few minutes of fame bites him in the butt.

Did my last one online as well. But had a small glitch. Instead of the last photo taken...I received one with a photo from at least 2, if not 3, renewals back. I had all black hair and beard in it. Not even close to that now. I was told I could get another if I wanted. Just haven't gotten around to it.

The Goldenrod units don't get much warmer than you can comfortably touch. They are mainly designed to keep air circulating in the safe, but the minimal heat does offer some benefit against normal temp changes. So no, not enough heat to damage wood stocks. Just keep a small distance between the rod and your stocks. In my safe, I have it placed in the right front, about 1-2 inches from the wall. That has worked for me for at least 20 years.

Maybe some would think it overkill, but I use both a Goldenrod and the Eva-dry unit in my safe and ammo storage. I live in a situation where humidity is an issue, and don't have my storage area in a perfect place. So I started out using the Goldenrod years ago in our old home. When we moved where are now, I was concerned about the humidity as well. Really haven't had any issues, but I was thinking that with my investments in the safe contents; a little precaution couldn't hurt. So I put both in each safe and my ammo cabinet(an old safe that I gutted after the 2010 flooding). Also put a humidity/temperature monitor in each. (Amazon for it as well...Acu-rite model about 10 bucks each. The Eva-dry units are various size and price, but worth it I think.) Currently, I get readings of about 40-42% humidity, and a temp that changes with home and outside temp. I'm thinking of getting a small thermostatically controlled heater to keep in the room as well to assure a more constant temp. Overkill? Maybe, but for roughly 50 for each safe...I feel it's worth it.

I've bought from them lately. Good pricing and good products. Sometimes see a free shipping ad from others(meaning price is hiked to include shipping in most cases) price that is really close. But as Garufa says, they are good to buy from.

Checked those cans I bought from PSA. They are from Blackhawk.

I bought some then. When I called recently, I asked about them and was told they would not be doing that again as they had too much in the shipping costs for it to be profitable. Don't know if that will happen again or not.

Same here. Bought blem lowers, uppers, and complete guns from PSA. No discernable flaws in any of them.
