  1. I'm definitely up for this!
  2. And for lesser offenses...let's bring back the chain gangs. A little manual labor might help. You know, breaking up rocks to make road beds with.
  3. And of course it had to be on about the ugliest Caddy ever built.
  4.   Now this I might be able to handle. lol   Awesome course. Now how did you do in the rankings? Re-reading this, I want to say I'm not ridiculing you or this type of event. If I could do the things necessary in it, I'd be right in the thick of it. Well at least the tail end of the pack anyway. But if you get it all together, I might be in line to help out with it. I just noticed. Baxter? Wow. My old home.
  5. Good comparison photo. I did like the beavertail on the FNS9, and it is a viable candidate for many of us. As much as I want to like them, I just can't seem to. I've owned a couple of them and seem to just let them go. It's sort of like the Sig pistols. I like them too, but unless it's a 1911, I haven't kept but one of them. And that was the Blackwater 226.
  6. Good looking pistol. Although I'm not an FN fan. They don't seem to feel comfortable to me. This looks very good in the FDE.
  7. Or maybe he's a big Don Knotts fan? Ok, I know some of you guys won't get it, but it's funny. Take my word for it.

    Small Rant

Good luck to you. I haven't been there in so long I really can't remember the last time I was there. But I do have a favorite memory of Ralph's. In the mid 60's, a buddy of mine, his little brother and I were going to the Princess(really dating myself now. Old walk in theater back up on Broad)to see a movie. I remember it well. A true classic...The Green Slime. We decide to grab a couple of donuts to sneak in. Well, we had a little time to kill, so we sat and had milkshakes and chocolate eclairs or three, and decided the fresh baked bread smelled wonderfully good. So we bought a couple loaves and shoved them under our shirts. Real sneaky like. Ya know. All was going well, until...we pulled out that bread and started eating. You could smell it all over the theater. lol We were asked to dump the bread or leave. So we just dumped it in the trash and sat to watch one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Well now, remember the shakes and eclairs I mentioned? Got so sick I thought I was gonna die. I don't recommend that combination. Or maybe it was the French bread that put me over the top, as it were. Ok...next time I'm in the big city; I have to make a nostalgia run to Ralph's. Wonder if the giant twists are still on the menu?
  9. YES!!! Catch my lib neighbor and gun'im down!!!
  10. Interesting idea, and I like it. But isn't that just like the window decals? I mean you're still advertising that you might have a gun in the car/truck.
  11. Will make for some very interesting looking knives. I like the first and last ones best.

Had to be! I gained many a cavity from them. And probably a few pounds as well. Actually, in those days I was about 170. Damn. That's many pounds ago.
  13. Love the emoticon! That looks like me after I don't get what I want.

O dear Lord, no. I'm fat enough now. Donuts are my downfall...there's a Shipley's Donuts about 2 miles away. Fresh, hot apple fritters and unglazed cake donuts. I Need some Now...    Your coffee is on me next time!

Are you calling me an addict? Just because I seem to be here several times a day. Every dang day. And can't stop wondering what item I didn't get to buy. Or what thread I missed chiming in on.   I am not an addict. I just have no friends and nothing else to do.   Well...maybe I am. Hmmm.
  18.   I've just about begun to think that NRA rating is worthless, as far as really telling which way a politican really leans.
  19. Glock/FN hybrid...at least my take on it.   But really doesn't do much for me. I'll stay with my Glocks/Smiths/PPQ till something else bites me.
  20. Really? I first had it with my grandma. Must have been mid 1950's. I grew up being told it was a recipe from granny's family, who all came from the east Tn mountain country. So maybe a grain of possibility there. lol
  21. But I don't like hot wings...
  22. I rear the day my wife retires and we have to go thru all this mess.
  23. So it's too late to say it's in Jimmy Buffet's mind?
  24. It's already been said, so this is nothing more than butt kissing. But that is one beautiful rifle!
  25.   So it's sliced and fried already. Thick cut?
