  1. After getting the upper and lowers, buying parts kits, barrels and whatnot; that's really not far off. And although I don't kneed any more mags at the moment, factoring in 250-300 for the 20 mags, this really sounds good. Hmmm. And better all the time.
  2. Good choice. What's your poison, Gen 3 or 4? I've still got my 2 gen3 models and a bunch of mags I've accumulated over the last few years. Have and experiences with the 4 models? I've heard about the mags and the differences between them; and I don't see enough to warrant a change for me. But I've heard comments about some older mags not fitting the Gen 4s. Seems kinda odd to me. Know anything like that?
  3. Referring to the video comments from an interviewed parent..."blood transaction"?? Should sterilized the tacks between pokes?
  4. Any news on the time frame for these yet? And of course, the pricing.
  5. Good. I got a Styer for you.
  6. Isn't that the place that has all the ammo boxes around the sides? Seems like I remember going there once after meeting a member last year for some ammo. And the burger was really good.
  7. I guess that's the origins of "phone sex?"     Hey. Don't knock it til you try it. At least the risk of an SDS in lower.
  8. Wow! You can have sex with your Iphones now?!?!? That's quite an innovation.
  9. Hmmm? Single minded, sluggish, hard to get rid of, and wants to eat(control) your brains? Sounds similar.
  10. Funny how signs can mirror trends we see everyday.
  11.   Great advice for you p220. Especially on the 9mm AR.   Darn!  Now that's got me thinking 9mm for the SBR in the TGO lower project.
  12.   Dang, that's a very good idea.   Now you done gone and confused me agin'.
  13. Should go pretty well. I got mine in I think about 2 months. But I would think that could go longer with a full line recall being instituted. FWIW, and not to get your hopes up, I know one person who got a refund in under a month. But that was 2 months ago, just before the latest round of info hit.
  14. Nice package. Almost tempting. Thanks for posting, Major.   If not for the TGO Lower build coming up, it would be difficult not to go for this.
  15. I totally agree with the suppressed 22 as a critter suppression unit. I have a suppressor on one of my 22/45 pistols. But it was an impulse buy as a package deal a couple years ago, from an East Tn dealer at a local gun show. Decent price on the combo. But I really regret it.   The suppressor is not a type that can be dismantled and cleaned, and it's definitely NOT anything like a YMH it was compared to. It does reduce the sound of the fired round, maybe a little close to the 50% range. But nowhere as quite as yours, Dolomite.     NEVER impulse something like that. You pay up front, get the product later, and you get what you got. Not always what you might expect.
  16.   Don't disagree with you. All very good. Just these were the ones that came to mind for me. Not trying for a "best" list. That's way too subjective for me to try and put together.
  17. Thanks.  Someday I might tell how it really ended.
  18. Really still undecided, but the idea of a 300 BLK sure is tempting. And I've thought I might like and SBR someday. Maybe this is the route to go. Really need to get busy and start looking for parts. As well as search to find what I need to be safe and legal in the possible SBR.   But the flexibility in building as a pistol initially sure is safer.     Probably do as I seem to do everything else....a last  second decision.
  19.   I Love it!
  20. I know he's long out of date with most folks, but I got to see Roy Clark once in a small show with Chet Atkins. Now I really love Chet, but when he got into the guitar and doing a sota "dueling guitars" with Chet, Roy did a couple of Jeff's tunes. It was awesome.    Somebody, somewhere surely has audio and video of that night. Would be incredible to see it again.
  21.   Smooth move there, TS. A real good save.
  22. Welcome back. Saw your handle and realized I hadn't seen it for a while.
  23. Then you both get kudos for persistence and skill.
  24. Hell Yes!   Jeff Beck. Eric Clapton. Stevie Ray Vaughn. Mark Knoppler. Chet Atkins. Roy Clark. Just a few of the great ones. In no particular order.   Damn. These guys have hands and fingers like I do, but I sure can't make mine do the things like them.    Yeah, I know....years, and years, and years with a guitar glued to them. That's how.
  25. Darn you guys. I'm addicted to good Burgers. Now I'm gonna have to schedule a trip to try them out. :yum:  :yum: :yum:
