    Sig SP2022 9mm

I'll back up the statements on functionality for the SP2009. Got one used, no idea of round count, but it's been perfect for the 400 or so rounds I've shot.
  2. Some interesting looking designs there. The Model 722 does intrigue me for the Shield.
  3. Very nice collection.
  4. I have the S&W 940 and really like it. But it is a stout little bugger to shoot.   Picked up the Taurus 905 last year in a lgs, but haven't shot it.   I've seen and held the Ruger 9mm revolver and wished I could buy one. It feels great. And that frame should make firing the 9 feel like a light 38.
  5. I'd say great work, but I'd just be piling on, wouldn't I?   Anyway...Great work sir.
  6.   I will not say it....I will not say it...I will not say it...
  7. Shield.   I've had the PPS in 9 and 40, the Nano, a PF9, and a 709.   Very much an individual choice for everyone, but the Shield has been the best all-around choice for me.
  8. Sounds like you have a good one if it's a steel frame, some of the later models were pretty bad with potmetal construction. I had one of them. I t shot well, but was pretty weakly constructed.
  9. Great thing to do. Great for all involved. Our little furry owner came from the Humane Society's rescue efforts, and it's been a blessing.
  10. Congrats from a retired old fart. Keep that income high so you can pay for those of us who don't work.
  11.   Been coming for a long time, my friend, It all started wit the pass/fail. Then to satisfactory/unsatisfactory.   Now we're getting closer and closer to the moronic ways the new-ager have made sports non-competitive. Just apply the same logic in the classroom.    Can't have "Poor Johnny" feel less than equal  just because he can't read or write.
  12. I've used a few of them, and agree with you. It's not high-end leather, but functions pretty well. I've used one for my Ruger  LCP for quite a while, and I think the little pistol rides really well in mine.    I've been planning on getting one for my Shield. I tried the same one I use for the LCP and it fits pretty tight, but the barrel hangs a little lower than I like in it.
  13. As much as I really hate to agree with you, Austin; I just about have to.
  14. With one exception, me, myself, and I that is. TGO has been full of wonderful people, and given me a great time and quite an education in many areas.   I got involved with it just to have something to do while I was doing chemotherapy. It soon became more than just a way to pass time while hooked to an IV drip.  It became a place I looked forward to going to for a multitude of reasons. And it gave me a lifeline to the outside world. A contact with solidity and normalcy,   I've met a lot of guys here, many ftf. I've conversed by common thread and pm with many others.   I can say without fear of lying to you or myself; in the almost five years and hundreds of people, I've had exactly 2 experiences that were not first rate.   And that's a heck of a better rate than I ever had while working for a living.
  15. What can we really say about Leonard Embody?   While his motives may be for the good. His methods clearly are not only controversial, but sometimes markedly detramental to his to his(our) cause.
  16. I congratulate all you who have found reasonably priced ammo, especially .22. I haven't been so lucky. Maybe today when I go out.
  17. Just saw this, and I would like to thank UncleJak as well. A fine thing you did for another fine man.
  18. Signed and passed on to the few people who still talk to me.
  19. Out of warranty? Glock isn't working with you on this? I must admit to being rather stunned at that.
  20. Is that even possible under their rules?
  21. I have an understanding wife, as long as bills are paid, I can do what I want. Psst. Don't tell her I said this.
  22. Hmmm. I think I see a trend here.   I like my Model 92, but it's not a carry gun for me. That would be the G19, for all the reasons already stated.
  23. Not odd at all, at least to me. I find it very desirable. I currently have 2 9mm revolvers, both SA/DA models though. A Smith and a Taurus. And like them both.
  24. I had one of the Nano pistols for a while. Not sure of the production date though, but I bought it about 16 months ago I believe.  Anyway, mine functioned perfectly right out of the box with 115 grain and with some +P mixed in for about 50 rounds.   I will tell you I did not enjoy shooting this little firebreathing cannon. Yeah, I admit it. Too much of a wimp for it. But it did function well during the time I had it. If I remember correctly I traded it to a member here who will remain nameless unless he chooses to comment on it.
  25. Exactly my problems as well.
