  1. It's very hard to include every possible detail of a transaction in the sales ad especially if the item being sold is used. To me, "I'll take it" is a firm commitment to the seller that you will buy, period. I prefer to post a "PM Sent" in the thread to let others know and communicate privately with the seller. We've never failed to work out those details and complete the deal. Plus I've gotten to know some great TGO members in the process.
  2. I'm familiar with that area. Nice part of town. 4145 Beltline Road is a commercial retail strip. Several businesses share the address with different suite numbers. No residential there. Would be interesting to run the numbers on the license.
  3. My wife is so happy that you're not closer! Great package deal. GLWS
  4. Cabrito, hind quarter. Fine eating!
  5. Very interesting video. I'm impressed with the smooth video when the drone was flying in high windy conditions. What type drone are you flying?
  6. Welcome neighbor. TGO's a great place to learn. All kinds of knowledge here.
  7. Welcome neighbor. You'll find good folks here.
  8. Wade195's right. Bill's flags are awesome. Got one for me and one for my son last time. Plus I got to meet him personally when he went out of his way to meet me in Cookeville. Thanks again to two fine TGO'ers.
  9. Excellent advice. Probably the best accessory I've added to my 650. I also have a LED strip on the inside of the frame. Can't get too much light for older eyes. I also will recommend installing a roller handle. That ball grip gets tiresome very quickly.
  10. For 35+ years until I decided I like the retired lifestyle better!
  11. A supply disruption is very hard to handle. I had to work through one when we lost the primary plant that supplied one of our feedstocks due to an explosion. The material was unique and was sole sourced. We were ethical and allocated available finished goods based on past usage, refused new customers, etc. Large customers that historically bought by truckload(s) had to unload one pallet then watch the truck drive away to the next customer with product they both desperately needed to serve their customers. Bottom line. We saved the company but our customers were forced to find other options to continue their businesses. Our most profitable product line was destroyed by loss of customer confidence and their need to serve their customers. In a free market, if there's enough demand for reloading supplies and the existing manufacturers are not able to fill the "vacuum", new sources will develop. That's the basis of "business", identify an unserved need and find a way to fill it. It will take time but this will happen. Unfortunately, we do not live in a true free market. Politics will have a major influence on what ultimately happens.
  12. Surprises me too but there are copies of TV ads for Glock on the internet. Agree on the snl target audience. Maybe somebody's red herring? Especially considering Sleepy Joe's announcement of his anti-gun agenda today.
  13. Looked up and read those reviews. Attitude that company is showing their customers is hard to understand. Thanks for the heads up. Rotsa Ruck!!
  14. I've been at "50% complete" for years. I don't chose to answer the questions required to be "100% Complete". Everything works fine for me.
  15. And if you get that inch, immediately ask for another foot. Repeat as often as necessary to get that first foot and then more.
  16. I'm working with a group of parents to add air rifle to our county 4-H shooting sports programs. This will give the older shooters that have aged our of the BB program an opportunity to continue in shooting sports. We'll also work with the younger kids that are ready to move up to a higher competition level. We have approved air guns available but need range equipment including spotting scopes and competition style scope and rifle stands. The scopes must be able to focus at 10 meters. Thought I'd throw it out to TGO and see if anyone has some gear they no longer need. We are in the Midstate but can work out arraignments to other areas for the right deals. Thanks for your consideration.
  17. Coming home is a good feeling. Got to do it a few years ago myself. Welcome home.
  18. Not surprising at all. They have already shown their true agenda multiple times. You will do what we say! We will do what we want!
  19. Let me think about this... Website appears to have been established on Dec 5, 2020. According to their website, they have been able to line up companies all over the US and Canada that freely sell the inventory of scarce products to Jack's Reloading, And they want payment by Venmo or Bitcoin??? Think I'll pass on this one. I'm too busy working with a Nigerian bank to get my huge inheritance from somebody I never knew.
  20. With all the craziness we enjoy here I didn't know a man could stay silent that long! Welcome. Glad you decided to join the party.
  21. This could almost a recording of a conversation I had with a FFL friend recently. He's cussed and threatened daily over the guns/ammo supply situation by complete strangers. Says when he ask why they don't just buy elsewhere they will admit no one has any inventory and go back to ranting at him. He's started just walking away and ignoring them. Heck of a way to have to run your business and deal with potential customers.
  22. Sounds about right. Maybe detected by some levels of the supply chain a little earlier. Our family members that work in retail mentioned it was happening again about then. Also mentioned the shortage of aluminum for cans that is limiting some canned drink purchases.
  23. Everything's sounding positive you and yours Steelharp. Great news. Still sending prayers for you and all the families affected by this mess.
