House passes “protecting our kid act”

Recommended Posts

Yeah.. it is "for the children"... More like For all the DC control freaks

I like the"buyback" for magazines. If this got to law, my PMags would be worth gold. I am not trading them for a $25 Wal-mart gift card....

And pulling this 4th grade kid into this to relive the tragedy again is truly despicable and a attempt to force the issue with emotion and not reason.

If they really cared about children dying needlessly they would outlaw all abortions excluding due to health needs-

But they really don't give a bat guano -

They just want total control of you and me-simply put-

That was the thing I had some choice words for, I settled on calling it theater trying to be mindful while cursing to myself.

What amazes me the most is how their mindless supporters can be ok with these tactics, without any regard for the trauma it could inflict and loose morals it took to take advantage of this child. It seems so transparent.

Speaks volumes about their support base in addition to the complete hypocrisy of ‘looking out for kids’.  It’s surely a sign of desperation. They know they can’t win on logical merits, so trying to froth up an angry mob with pitchforks and torches is where they went.

It will probably die in the Senate.

However, due to the extreme emotion involved, some Republicans may vote for it just for PR purposes. I sent e-mails to Blackburn and Hagerty both  encouraging them to not only vote against it, but to keep those on the fence in line. I suggest you do too.

Me too. I know they preach 2nd Amendment but it doesn't hurt to remind them.

I have all my representatives on speed email. We cannot get complacent nor expect everyone else to do it.
