Possible Cookie Issue

Recommended Posts

I’ve noticed since yesterday’s software update that the “Important Information”  prompt for TOS is never truly dismissed after clicking “I agree”.  The same prompt appears clicking on any thread after the initial acceptance.

This is on mobile (IOS 16.5) but have seen the same in FireFox on a normal computer.

Only happens when not actually logged in.

I haven't noticed that yet but I did just clear the system cache which sometimes solves problems like this.

Let me know if it's still happening?

So sorry, I will go back to my corner now.

I was already about to pour a glass of milk. What a let down.

I am still experiencing the same problem that Garufa is reporting on my Windows 10 Pro PC using Chrome browser with ad blockers.

It's still happening.  I made sure to clear out my cache again, but I'm already OCD about that, lol.

It does only happen when not logged in.  As I recall, after clicking "I accept" before, a notice would briefly appear saying something like terms dismissed.  Not seeing that now.

Just logged out and did a screen cap. This is what pops up at every screen. I’m just gonna say it. Log in and it goes away folks. I mean, if it bugs you it’s in your power to fix.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have been able to confirm the same issue.  Like ChuckTShoes said... it goes away when you login, so... login.  🙂

I am going to review it with the software developer and see if anyone else has reported it, though.

Update 6/21/2023 @ 3:00PM Central

I think maybe the bug with the TOS being shown repeatedly is fixed now.

It seems to have fixed that, but you need to check something new. If I type in the address as “tngunowners.com/forums” I get the site as normal.

If I type it in as “tngunowners.com” I get this:
