I'm with you. I flipped over to MSNBC just because I wanted to see Matthews cry. He's not on there - maybe he passed out ;)

Me too! I watched Rachel Maddow. All she could do is make excuses that Martha was not a good candidate, and how MA had problems electing women to positions of power.

They just don't get it......

Oh, it isn't that they don't get it - it's that they cannot accept what is so plainly before them - that Americans are beginning to reject their socialist agenda, their "intellectual leadership", and the guy that was elected to govern, but elected to rule instead.

If they accept these facts, their whole world goes down the toilet. Certainly we dumb peasants couldn't be rejecting them, could we? No, must be our fault, the candidates' fault, heck, Bush's fault.

This win isn't the end, it's the beginning. My personal goal is to hear that Keith Olbermans' head exploded on TV. (I don't want to see it, even that wouldn't make him worth watching).

And they refuse to accept anything other. Lies and deceit only go so far within the

philosophical realm. To the people who voted for Obama because he sounded good,

I know you finally started listening to what he said instead of what he sounded like.

Thank you Massachusetts!

Yep, I know.

Also know he has vowed to vote against obamacare. Likewise card-check and immigration 'reform'... Works for me. Of course, this election wasn't a gut check for obama, just like VA and friggen NJ were just isolated local elections of no real importance. (How about that? A republican governer in NJ. A republican Senator in "the Kennedy seat". Dayum, time to buy stock in ice skates).

Obama has turned out to be an A-1 gun salesman, and the best draw for the Republican party since Reagan. Is there nothing the man can't do?

That's a big attaboy!
To heck with that. Let the Republicans JOIN the Teaparty movement.

Amen brother!!! Well said!! The Republicans better join up; or they will have to morph into Demorats. Looks like folks are waking up.

Keep up the good work.

Oh, they get it - they're going to do everything they can to make this appear to be anything but a referendum against Obama's policies.

OS, I understand what you're saying, and share some of your cynicism. However, I hope "we the people" root out the RINOs in November, and restore true Conservatism to the Republican Party.

Right. Sorry, I just had that discussion with someone else and the consensus was that the terms "liberal" and "conservative" have almost ceased to have any real meaning as they relate to national political parties. We've just got "the party of really big government" and "the party of even really bigger government", with the main difference being that one of them doesn't like abortion and is afraid of getting gay cooties.

this can't be, there must be a recount. Rep takes this state for the first time in over 30 yrs???? Ole Teddy is already rolling over! Personally I feel its is great since the Rep now have 41 seats, enough to shoot down the dreaded Obamacare.......Maybe the tide is turning, one never knows.

My favorite Scott Brown quote:

And let me say this, with respect to those who wish to harm us, I believe that our Constitution and laws exist to protect this nation - they do not grant rights and privileges to enemies in wartime. In dealing with terrorists, our tax dollars should pay for weapons to stop them, not lawyers to defend them.

I expect ENDLESS recounts. We've been here before.

They do recounts when the margin is like 1000 votes, not 100,000.

That and she already conceded. And didn't immediately recant the concession like douchebag Gore.

I believe America is in for a good House (and Senate) cleaning come November. There's quite a few Dems that need to be De-elected. One that comes to mind is 5th District Congressman Jim Cooper who voted for Obamacare. The time is ripe for some well educated GOP State Rep. or Senator to take his place in the U.S. House. If a Republican can win in KerryKennedyLand, i'm positive there's candidates that can beat Cooper and some other Dems in Tennessee.

I am in Cooper's district and will do all that I can to defeat him. He is a 1st Class POS!!! He and Cohen are the only 2 Reps. from TN to vote for the bill and I believe that was the Dems plan because they felt that those two were probably the 2 strongest members and felt their re-elections were in the bag. I certainly hope that they are as right about these two getting re-elected as the Dems were sure that they would win the election in Massatwosh*ts! We know how that worked out for them.
