So we have the opportunity to do a group buy on billet machined lower receivers.  We're still in the planning stages, but these will likely be laser engraved with the TGO logo and a custom serial range.

One of our members who has an impeccable reputation in the shooting community has opened up a dialog with a national manufacturer who would produce the lowers for us.

We have some things to work out.   I'm always concerned with people getting screwed on group buys.  And, we'll need to work with some of our vendors to receive the lowers to do transfers.

There will hopefully be more to come in the coming weeks, but for now, I just want to guage interest.  Understand, that we won't do a purchase without money in hand - we're not leaving anyone holding the bag because you said you wanted 10 receivers and then can't pay for them.

If we order 50, they'll be around $125.  If we order 100, they'll drop to $115.  This may change a little bit as we firm things up.

Have at it.

I'd be interested, but I'm a bit worried about Group Buys after a former member on here and LF.net scammed several individuals, including guys that were deployed..

That assclown hasn't been a member here for several years now and I'm frankly (see what I did there) surprised he's still breathing after the Lightfighter scam.

The whole concept worries me too.  If you've got specific concerns, PM me.  But, understand that we're only going to do this if we can work it out so that it is safe for everyone to participate.

Can the funds not be collected on a Pay Pal account as a gift to guarantee payment prior to ordering ?

Paypal couldn't be used even if we wanted to.  You'd likely be subject to them shutting the whole thing down for violation of their TOS.

I guess it would be based on what we described we were paying for but in a GIFT situation I don't think there is a description. I will let you handle it , just throwing ideas out , thanks for doing it , I like the idea.

We're not using Paypal for this.  End of story.
