MUST have!!!!!! Walther!!!

Recommended Posts

Very nice. I may have to find the Shield a new home. I like the ergonomics of the Walther.

I know what you mean about the ergonomics.  I've had a P99 since 2004 and I've never felt the need to stray towards another gun; it feels that good in my hands.

 But, why the rail??

I just don't understand having an "accessory" rail for a pistol marketed as a "concealed carry" pistol.

Maybe for a "nightstand" pistol (such as the XD9 I have with a light attached), but that's about it.

Why not?  The frame is just molded, it doesn't cost any more to put it on there, and it doesn't add bulk or weight.

What's interesting to me is the sudden development of small fixed-barrel autos.  Remington with the R-51 (if they ever get it right), and now this gun.  I wonder what's driving this?

Big P99 fan myself. Not really feeling it for this one though. I mean, I'm sure it's a decent piece and all...
