Suggestion; In an effort to make those of us that are less than talented feel better, I propose the last place looser gets shoot at the first place winner's pumpkin.

I think that the top 3 should have to also post a picture of themselves with said pumpkin or at least have it next to a dated newspaper from their area just to keep things legit ;-D

Whaaaa... ju think I outsourced a 'TGO' logo pumpking to some guy in India or something?

Wouldn't the "last place loser" be, in fact, the winner?

I'm gonna be a nice guy, and let some of you know that you should take another look at the contest rules. I'd hate to see someone who put in all that work end up being disqualified for a technicality.

* Members may submit ONE pumpkin via photo to be judged.

Check

* Carving design should be related in some way to TGO, firearms, supporting the troops or other form of patriotism. Any schmuck with a knife can carve a scary face; it takes talent to make it relevant.

check

* Submissions must be posted in THIS thread no later than 12:01am Wednesday, October 29th.

check

* Submissions must be the member's original work! No copies, no ripping off photos on the Internet.

check - although maybe you are saying this is not my original work in that i made it from a patch i wear on my right sleeve. Id argue that the rule is saying to not take a pic off the internet and enter it as your own submission or just copy that pumpkin exactly.

* Both daylight and night / dark-room shots must be submitted.

check - and again you could argue that just having the light on isnt enough. i have one with the porch light on but ill add a full daylight so we dont have arguments.

Haven't seen any submissions yet that haven't followed the guidelines. Have I missed something? :D
