Westboro Protest in Chattanooga

Recommended Posts

There's no mercy for these people. Not in my heart any way. All they want is grounds for a lawsuit.
Well, it's hard to sue someone when you're dead. Wrong as it may be to say, I would smile if some biker gang beat several of them to death.

Notice they don't protest at an Outlaws MC funeral. They are going to get a real rude awakening someday when somebody who has no fear of being sued stomps one of their people's guts out.

Obama won't lower the flag on the White House or any federal facility to honor these brave men.  Yet he lowered the flag to half staff for Nelson Mandela's funeral (not even an American citizen)  and couldn't wait to put rainbow lights on the White House when gay marriage  was legalized.

To quote Wisconsin County Sheriff David Clarke (an African-American and Democrat) talking about Obama: “Everything that he does just comes up wrong. I’ve never seen a president like this–that everything he touches tends to turn to crap,” he added.

I just hope Obama does not come to Chattanooga.

Well, when you're so FULL of it, stands to reason that everything you touch turns to it. Worst SOB that's ever been in the White House. He was in Chattanooga last year. Don't think, if he has any brains, he'll be back. Wait... he doesn't have any brains, so maybe we should be on the lookout.

IIRC there have been some reports of assaults and threats in regard to the WBC in the past. They also made a point out of demanding protection.

The only flag not at half-staff in Dunlap, Tennessee is at the Post office. When I called and asked why, they claimed they were not authorized by the Fed. to lower it to half-staff.  I haven't felt this disgusted with our so called leaders in Washington  since I was advised not to wear my uniform in public when I returned from Vietnam, back in the 60's. :surrender:

Then I believe they were very wrong.  "any federal facility within a region"

4 U.S.C. § 7(m) was modified with new legislation signed into effect on June 29, 2007, by President Bush, requiring any federal facility within a region, which proclaims half-staff to honor a member of the U.S. Armed Forces who died on active duty, to follow the half-staff proclamation.[62]

I was on hwy 111 from Cookeville to Livingston this afternoon and noticed at the Overton county line a flag at half staff, the one at the bank was half staff and the post office was at the top. Sure makes you feel real proud that at least the local people know what to do with the flag at times like these. If anyone can confirm that the owner of the strip mall is going to put up a memorial, it would be great if the TGOers could start a donation fund to help with the cost. Just a thought.

At least our Governor has the sense to honor those who we lost, unlike that A$$HOLE in the White House.

Haven't heard anything definite yet on the memorial at the strip mall... but saw an interview with the property owner saying it was something he wanted to do. Soon as I see something definite I'll post it.

Actually, the most respectful thing he can do is butt out. No one around here wants his false condolences or the sad islamic elephant eared poop stream that flows from his mouth.
These soldiers are one step closer to resting in peace for not having him speak of it.
