  8. This is a Walther P 38 from World War II era . looks to be Walther manufacture. Has the German markings from that era comes with two unnumbered or mismatched magazines . the gun was Arsenal refinished after the war and ended up being a mixture of different serial numbers. These were usually issued to post war Police departments to the best of my knowledge. I got this gun in a trade many years ago and I’ve never fired it. Been a safe queen all these years and now it’s time to go. I’m interested as a trade in a Smith & Wesson 617 or a Smith & Wesson 648 with a 6 inch barrel. I can trade up or down . I’m asking $650 for the pistol, including the extra magazine . Again , I’ve never fired it and I’m no Walther expert, but I will add pictures so you can see what you’re looking at. If anybody’s interested, I can meet in Nashville, Franklin, Brentwood, Cool Springs, area with a little effort. Reach out to me TNGO for any more info or more pics.

  16. I carry an officer's size 45, all steel, and it's a chunk. Not a 1911 pattern but modified of the same type action. If I were picking a 1911 for EDC it would be a lightweight commander. My preference is for hammer fired SA but I am trying to get used to a poly frame DA/SA double stack. Less weight, more rounds, and a decock/safety lever so it can be cocked and locked or first shot double action. Trust me when I say a full sized all steel 1911 takes dedication to EDC.
  17. Family that works in Singapore is bringing kids that want to see the mountains. Wanted to stay in Gatlinburg area but booked or very high prices,so Maryville area will work. Anyone know of a rental for 6-7 people in that area for a couple days? Checked with Cherokee Marina cabins and did not work out. Thanks Will
