Well, I didn't dig out any more feeders and today I realized I will half to get out a couple more. I have about 12-15 birds have not been paying enough attention to them. I got up earlier than I have been and the feeders are almost empty. I have a lot of small females and I think 3-4 Red throats. I thought it was going to be a slow season for Hbirds but they are just late getting here. I will get 10 lbs of sugar this weekend to make a couple gallons of Nectar for them.

I grew up in Illinois and they don't let you use rifles for deer hunting. Believe it or not, that dang gun was dead accurate with a rifled slug. I took a beautiful buck one time that was 100 yds away and running at a dead run. Shot him right thru the heart. You should have seen that blood trail!!! Lol

I'd take that in a second if you were in East TN. I grew up shooting & hunting with this exact same gun. I took at least 10 deer with it. It was my dad's and unfortunately, it was promised to the first grandson before I was born. It hurt so bad when my dad passed and I had to hand that shotgun to my nephew.
