RIP Sir. Love Glocks or hate them I don't think anyone can deny the incredible impact that design had/has on the firearms industry. Everybody (for the most part) jumped on the "striker fired, plastic gun" bandwagon and that concept is ubiquitous today. In my experience Glocks work, they just work and keep working. I just sent my 1997 G19-3 into ATEi for a milling for my 509t (again). The G19-3 has above 50K rounds through it and this is my second replacement slide...I've broken 2 over the years. So, I'm biased, But it doesn't change the fact it was an innovative concept that was well marketed. Much Respect.

I would pick up more of this Monarch brand if it were available for this price. Not for FOMO or anything, but it leaves my primer stash alone so I can put it towards .32's & .38's With current component pricing my 9mm handloads would cost me 19.7 cents per round...so 20 cents a round is a good "buy" price to me for decent 9mm. I appreciate your listing it initially. Thank you.

I’m actually selling a firearm and grabbing another 3k. It’s the cheapest I’ve seen for decent ammo post Covid even with charging sales tax. 9mm has been trending downwards, but election year, CCI saying price increases 1-7% across the board, and god knows what else is coming… figure I’ll most likely want the cheaper ammo more than another range gun. I just missed the delivery as well. Madison location is sold out. Mt Juliet and Clarkesville have some.

Up for sale is my Winchester Model 1892. Rifle is chambered in 44-40 and based on the serial number was produced in 1904. Features an octagonal barrel, buck horn sights, and rifling that strong and present. The action is tight and smooth. Stock and forend are solid without any cracks. Now Asking $1600. I consider myself a decent plumber for the home. However, as I age, it sure feels good to make a phone call, point to an issue, get it done. I redid my home in 3/4" hardwood floors. Tore a bicep tendon in the process. Would have been better to pay someone to do the install. I would have saved lots of pain and money.

Don’t feel too bad. I take great pleasure and pride in fixing stuff around the house and have probably saved thousands doing so. But sometimes you just have to call the man like I did a couple of years ago to replace the pressure regulator… out of my depth and patience.

I’ll second gnarlys post. Want to say I picked up this same ammo, site, and price in late 2022. Ran well in all the glocks sigs and SW we sent it through. Think I had one light primer strike and my buddy sent it in his shield. If memory serves me correctly they had rebranded the boxes into something close to “Buffalo ammunation” (not Buffalo bore). All had ZSR marking but had put the ammo into a new box when it hit the states and included a pocket constitution and some religious literature. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

@NoBanStan I shot some of this today out to 25 yards. Good quality ammo. Local pickup for me. But, Locally (Knoxville) Academy lists as OOS for in store pickup. I just checked the website and it looks to be OOS for shipping as well as of 1 minute ago. Unfortunate.

I'm a Glock guy first off. Secondly, I've modified them in almost every way. That being said, I've had Shadow Systems, Zevs and built P80s...all clones and all nothing but modified Glocks with different grips. So I gave 2 different Daggers a try to see how they would stack up. Like stock glocks, polish up the triggers and they're not bad or swap em out and they improve a bit. The grip is less than desirable to most. You either like it or hate it. I wasn't "happy" with the nub and sanded it off which helped. Daggers need modifying but are a great base to start with. Daggers are cheap for a reason. I feel they would be a great truck gun, back up, toilet or shop gun etc in stock form. For those who can't afford much, they are good enough to start with and defend yourself until you can upgrade parts or to another pistol. With Glockish lowers available every where, and a slew of parts available, I say build what you want when you find a lower you enjoy holding because the lower is usually what everyone has issues with. If you want or need an elchepo for whatever, Daggers fit that bill.

Actually if anyone knows levers really well I could use some assistance. As far as I know this rifle is a relatively rare version of a 92? No top safety neither the bolt nor the dial one. Serial is stamped on the side rather than under the lever like I have seen on other 92's. The rare part I am thinking here is the barrel itself is half octagon half round. Serial starts with AM, but I have heard that the serials do not mean much. Posting pictures in the hope that someone might be of assistance. I'll also post the pistols here, no identification needed on these I have identified them, since I think someone who can date the 92 would appreciate some the pistols. I boogered up reassembly and got my slide stuck pretty good to the point where I didn’t want to try to mallet it myself. I went in and handed it to the gunsmith who said “you might want to close your ears and distract yourself for this part”. He was right, it hurt to hear him wail away with what I assume was a rubber mallet, punch, a towel and a vice. After a few minutes he came out and had it disassembled. I asked what I owed him and he said go grab a recoil spring off the wall for ten dollars and spread the word that we helped you. So I’ll spread the word. It was also maybe 20 minutes til close so I already felt bad enough. All in all great experience for customer service.

I stand/sit before you a broken man. There was a tee connector that had a tiny hairline crack. Had been leaking for a while but just a drop here and there and I thought it was the shower drain. Well 3 times I fixed it and 3 times either the left or right coupler popped off under pressure. 2 trips to Co-Op, 1 trip to Lowe's, and 1 trip to Home Depot and still not fixed. I told Mom I'm throwing in the towel and calling the plumber. Everything is at least 20 years old combo of PVC and CPVC. Not going to do the WHOLE house but 95% of it in pex. We have 3 different water sources and I'm not messing with that because it's over my reloading table. He's gonna be here tomorrow afternoon to figure out what he needs. I know I could do it myself with a few youtube videos and getting the right "tool" but I don't really want to fool with it after the day and a half I've had. I'll just squat to pee from now on.

Perhaps several of Glock's competitors would be happy to offer a super-sized cardboard box.
