  1. I let them have $.17 but they may not like the form it comes in. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  2. I'd push them. They got their money and bowed out. If you bought a gun and it failed a day later wouldn't you go back to the place you purchased it? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. It said he drove 40 miles. The tech is supposed to put 6 miles on the vehicle during the pdi then put it into the rack and look it over. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  4. So what has your dealer said during all of this? I would have been on the phone with the dealer first thing demanding a different vehicle because their tech didn't do his job. How many miles did it have on it when you first drove it? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. I think there might be some over thinking on this. A DC to AC inverter back fed correctly to the panel can provide the power. Switching to 120v LED bulbs now will take care of the lighting. Cheap and simple. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. Many cameras are 12v anyway. A quick Google search shows several wifi 12v cameras available. I'm thinking a car battery with a solar charger. Then maybe some directional repeaters. Another option might be fiber optics. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  7. There goes my checking account. Been waiting on this one since it's big brother came out. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  8. I wouldn't do a gift card since she doesn't need the money. Maybe donate to a charity and send her some flowers and a nice card. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  9. Those steps don't look like they were put in right to begin with. I agree with what someone else said in putting some cap blocks on the ground so the stringers aren't in direct contact. It also seems to me that the top should be in full contact with the face of the deck not hanging half way off of it.
  10. Watch for gray market stuff. If in doubt call a dealer and ask them if a model is gray market. If it is run.
  11. I would put a sleeping bag or blanket in the bottom of the pack. You want the weight close to you and about mid way up your back. As already mentioned the belt makes all the difference. One other method you might look at is getting a 2 gallon camel pack. That would be about 16lbs full and easily adjustable. It would also put the weight right were it needs to be.
  12. The article says he has a history of mental illness. Been a while since I filled out a background check but doesn't it ask that?
  13. No! Been waiting for the Godson to match my Godfather forever now! :). What is the blue one in the pics?
  14. I use Wisdom from TSC. Anything I've ever sprayed has died instantly. Wood boring bees? Spray the wood and never saw them again. Wasps? Dead on contact. Scorpians, fleas, etc, dead. Spray around the house once a month and don't even see ants.
  15. As someone who has been in sales a long time I can offer some advice on this. 1)Never disparage another product. As already mentioned, calling it crap will create a defensive position. 2) Educate. Pull out some of you guns and talk about the differences is revolvers, semi autos etc. Talk about what makes one a quality piece and another not so much. Use their gun as well as yours to present a best, better, good scenario in that order. Show them what they lose at each step. 3) Shoot them. Start with the raven then something much smoother and easier on the hands. This is where you insert bias by making the comparison bigger, less recoil, easier to handle. Like a pinto vs a caddy. Let her make the decision to get a different gun by guiding.
  16. I thought you could shoot all you wanted in Memphis? It seems that way in many parts of town.
  17. Throw it in rice for a week and post it on ebay. I've had very good luck selling phones on there.
  18. Well finally got off my rump and sent payment...
  19. How about a bill that does something useful like directing schools to teach gun safety for those under 13. I think it would be better than the current curriculum that teaches about sex, STDs, gays, and transgender.
  20. If you think anywhere in Chattanooga is expensive to shoot at I urge you to call outside the area. The indoor range near me is 65/month. Makes the 250 a year at shooters depot a steal.
  21. I have seen coyotes pull a fawn out of a mother during birth. Also if they will eat a chicken they will eat a turkey. They have a big impact on both. Maybe you ought to call the biologist. Dogs (coyotes) are higher on the food chain than deer and turkey so yes they will attack and eat them.
  22. So I've owned at one point or another: 2004 Ram 1500 quad cab 6.5' Bed 2006 Ram 3500 mega cab 6.5' bed 2004 Durango 2006 Jeep Commander 2010 Ram 1500 5ft bed Crew cab 2015 Ram 3500 Crew cab 8' bed 2015 Jeep 4 door So with that said here's my opinion. Anything less than about 6.5' bed is useless. Even putting an 8' 2x4 takes some tie downs. The rear doors need to be full sized. I don't know that they make anything smaller now? I don't find the smaller trucks worth it. A full size is about the same price and much more useful. Diesel power is worth it. Also holds its value much better. I just finished a trip from Cincinnati to Nashville and back and got 18mpg out of my 3500 dually. The gas engines I've had got about the same mileage. I carry 2 adults, 4 kids, and 2 boxers comfortably inside my trucks. For the dogs if you really need to carry them in the bed get a truck with a sliding window and a cap with the same. The suvs we have owned and currently own are not as wide as the trucks which makes them less comfortable when putting a but in each seat. They also do not have the leg room that is in the trucks. The back areas are too small. I can fit more stuff in the cab of the trucks (esp the megacab) than I could in any of the suvs. As usual YMMV
  23. Post an ad in the personals on CL with his number.
  24. Could you name a few that are local to a given city or small area? I, too, have bought and sold on FB and find it to be easier to deal with for finding things locally. I have moved a number of times in the last few years and fb has been the easiest way to find local buy, sell, trade groups in a given city.
