  1. I did my own last time it was needed. Not all that difficult. Is this ceramic tile?
  2. Wish I had that kind of money to waste. What did they think was going to happen? That is the kiind of video that does not help the cause! Anti's love to point to that type of thing. Oh well, to each their own, and I do agree that was not very quiet to begin with but hard to tell on a video.
  3. hmmm 200 million equals 60,000 rounds each. Doubtful. If true I am a little behind as I doubt I have more than 40K.
  4. Well, would you get drunk and walk into south Chicago with no weapon and tear down or deface some gang tags? Without expecting some kind of trouble? Another dumb drunk college kid that paid a heavy price for his actions. Does not make it right by any means no more than the skirt wearer. Just makes it reality. If there is a cave full of dangerous snakes or other critters. You know it ahead of time, know the risk, yet enter anyway to go "Sight seeing" then don't be surprised when you get bit. Kind of like the folks that went hiking in Iran. Uh, do you see the news and know what the outcome might be? (Not sure of the entire story behind that incident and am too tired to look it up) Bottom line is if you would not go walking in a neighborhood in America that is known as "bad" why in the hell would you even think of going to a foreign country where your rights are what they decide and has a history like NK does
  5. According to the maps our land is right in the middle of the path. Very cool.

I was in Minnesota at the time and in the office with my partner in a courier and trucking business we had. Small office at the time and I remember my wife calling me and telling me a plane had hit the WTC. I asked her if it she meant a Cessna or something. She informed me it was a passenger jet. Quickly found a TV and got it hooked up. Spent the next 8 hours watching it unfold. My partner at the time was a major in the MN Army NG. His phone lit up shortly after the first strike. We had a small staff at that point and as I remember we were all just sitting around watching the news most of the day as we could not do much else. I can still remember that our regular phone lines into dispatch rang only a couple times that day. We went from hundreds of calls to almost nothing. The next day was the busy one for us as we were overflowing with calls for cargo work due to the air shutdown. It was a long day and the drive home was almost eerie as their was very little traffic. I am guessing everyone was watching the TV still.
  7. Any idea which model? I have a S&W 19 I could use those for.
  8. With a bunch of pink slips in his hand.
  9. Great bunch of guys! Now we need to see the veterans affairs secretary out there.
  10. Well as I do IT for a living I plan on having a little fun. I am thinking of telling him it is a deal but I want the transaction to occur close to my house. My father in law the agent in charge of the local ATF is offering to take me to the bank himself as I can't walk. I have to go soon anyway to deposit my funds from the Liberian lottery I won last week. Of course the return email will contain a link to my email and personal info. I plead the fifth on what the link will actually do. Lol.
  11. Here is an answer to my ad! Was not from TGO! Gotta shake my head at some people these days! Amazing how many people bite on these things. Watch yourselves guys. I love his "Ruger SR40c 9mm" Must be a rare gun! Timothy Swi 9:22 PM (17 hours ago) to me OK. the price Sounds fair to me. Just so you know I am located in Baltimore Maryland, and I relocated here 2 weeks ago. I relocated for work. I have other stuffs in my old apartment which includes (refrigerator, gun wardrobe, kitchen items, grand piano, garage items, Big tires, baby stuffs, a Ruger SR40c 9mm, and a WW2 M1 carbine which they are moving for me., A FFL dealer among the pick up agent will meet with you to do a transfer to him then he will bring the gun to Me and do a transfer to Me (so its not a straw purchase). They will deliver them all together with my things so you don't have to ship it. For the payment, I will be mailing you a cashiers check and I will as well add extra $100 to the asking price if you can hold it for me till check arrives and cashed. I will send you a copy of there FFL, though he would coming to pick up with a hard copy of the FFL so you will apply signatures where necessary. we can deal with all that when its time after payment is through. If this is OK, please get in touch with your name and mailing address to send the cashiers check to. Include your phone # as well so I will be able to contact you for fluent communication. Thanks
  12. Sorry guys, I am ten years old at heart! Lol
  13. Wow, they must have hedged on Hillary winning! S&W announced today, free M&P15 sport with purchase of any handgun with MSRP over $399. 30 days to deliver and you have to cover the transfer fee when it comes in! think I need a couple new ones!
  14. I have had starbucks a few times and they have nothing I can't get elsewhere for at least half the cost. I am into coffee, black, hot, that's it. I can get that at any convience store. I will however state that I love my keurig. I do pay more for the Kcups but still have a regular pot as well. The Keurig is great when I just want a quick cup or something other than regular black coffee. As for who they hire? Well, all I have ever seen in the ones I have been in are the millenial types that most often screw it up and can't count change. I will stick with Dunkin Donuts! I have a couple co-workers that think they cannot live without a huge cup of something from starbucks every day. Meh, to each their own I guess.
  15. At least she kept her booger hook where it belongs during the photo shoot. Better than most of the folks seem to do.
  16. Now when will Walmart go out? Not soon enough. Might as well call it China Mart. I avoid it at all costs. GM is the latest to suffer from the internet and bad business model. People are tied of paying more than a little more than a convenience fee. 20 to 30 % more then add tax and that is way more than most people are willing to pay to have it now.
  17. I have sold a couple I regret doing it. One one that bothered me a lot was a Remington 510 target master. It was a gun my dad and I refinished when I was 12 or so. Never should have sold it. Long story but a week after my dad passed away last fall I stopped in the local pawn shop. After 25 years or so of looking I found one. Turns out to be the very one dad and I had refinished. It came home with me and will never leave again. That was true remorse. Thanks dad!
  18. I am so glad I escaped Florida to come home to Tennessee. Tragic and easily preventable.
  19. My go to is my 1911 full size. I carry a P938 when the full size is too big for the occasion. A P238 when I have to be very discreet. I would carry a howitzer and a tank if I could but a little hard to conceal.
  20. Just my .02 but the plastic thingy (Sarcasm, I do know what it is) in front of trigger guard would have to go at least. Then have it refinished. And I do agree it would be going to the range and fired. We already have enough things in Government intended for use that are not!
  21. What is the use? Wet or dry or both? Irish Setters always were my go to boots. I have tried the 5.11 and give them an OK. For wet muddy days the "Muck" brand worked well.
  22. This explained my existence onboard several ships very well. Thanks for the memories and laughs. One more to add would be the addition to your house of at least 8 flights of stairs. Four up to enter then four down to bedroom level. (Berthing). Best navigated after having tried to consume the last 8 weeks of alchohol intake in the one night of liberty.
  23. Never cared for her arrogant attitude. Same for 95% of the news talking heads these days. They have the elite class syndrome like most of the politicians.
  24. Retire out in the woods. Lost everything to a boating accident. Just me and my single shot 22 left. They can search my camper.
  25. 33 Years ago today I Lost 241 fellow US Marines in Lebanon when their barracks was truck bombed. I offer my condolences to their families on the anniversary of a horrific day. This is yet another fine example of the government's inability to deal with the real world. Semper Fi my brothers. Service men and women that fight for this country deserve our respect and the best we have to offer. Yet they are forced to deal with political leadership that does not care about them. The VA system is a complete loss, ran by incompetent people appointed by incompetent leaders. I would like to see every politician up for reelection voted out of office this cycle. No politician should ever have a paycheck higher than the people that protect this country. Nor should they have medical care that is beyond the reach of most veterans. Please think hard about who you are going to cast a vote for. Some of our choices are not the most palatable yet again this year. Very few good people will run for any office as the stench is overwhelming from our politicians. If they are an incumbent please vote them out. I do not care which party it is. Parties really mean nothing to most of us anymore anyway these days as they have become corrupt on both sides. We are losing veterans at a very alarming rate while our leaders in Washington fight over some really stupid items. They have broken their vows and contracts with the very people sworn to protect this wonderful country. Perhaps they have forgotten what they should be doing, but more likely they are just busy taking money and making laws to benefit themselves and their friends to see the real world anymore. Perhaps they should remember the words of another US President: “Honor to the soldier and sailor everywhere, who bravely bears his country's cause. Honor, also, to the citizen who cares for his brother in the field and serves, as he best can, the same cause.” ― Abraham Lincoln Remember folks, these people are elected to represent us, not to do what they think is best for us. If what we have is what they think is best then it is high past time for new representatives. Think about that word, Representative. It is not intended they be rulers yet most seem to think they are. Take our Country back this year. Make your voice heard high above the clamor of the media and social sites! Do something different and think for yourself and vote for someone that will act and represent you the way it was intended. Notice I have mentioned no politician by name neither am I endorsing any candidate. In my opinion none of them are up to the task nor worthy. So let’s just get rid of any of them that have ever served more than one term and start with fresh thoughts and ideas. Do not let the baiters and media outlets lead you. Think for yourself and choose carefully. Race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and other buzz words should never be a factor in deciding who leads us. Break the paradigm they want you to follow. Our current representatives have been promising much for years while blowing sunshine up our butts and delivering nothing. I see no change for the poor and struggling people of this country even though it has been promised for decades. We might as well give the job to others this election as obviously the current bunch is not up to the task. Both parties have good talking points about the problems but no idea of how to correct the problems. Remember, A vision and plan without good execution is naught but a dream. Have a great day and thank a veteran today!
