  1. Yeah. I bet they were great live. I had a 3 month trial of Sirius XM with my new (to me) car. Liquid Metal had so many bands I never heard anywhere else. Got me a whole new lineup to listen to. Been years since I was able to stay up on music I like instead of the stuff my wife and kids listen to. According to my wife, my music is not kid friendly. Lol
  2. Probably not anyone elses speed, but this band has been in my mix pretty heavy lately.
  3. Is it still being updated? I checked it a while back and it seemed to have dated info.
  4. Despite popular myth, when most people get shot they either flee or fall down. Whether the bullet be from a .22 or a .500 S&W. There are instances that differ, but statisticaly they are on the low end. I would rather have a .22 in my pocket than a minigun at home when I need it. That being said, I grew up in a .45 household, so if I can, I carry a bigger round. Just a preference, nothing based on science.
  5. I guess I coukd at least sit and eat all the old style candy and drink all the odd brand rootbeer. Lol
  6. He needs a big coat to carry that ccw. Lol
  7. A little outside my topic, but if shows are no good, where do you gents like to look locally and online?
  8. Had to waited around at a Cracker Barrel today. Anyone else noticed how many useful things they have hung from the walls and ceiling? I know most would need a good oiling or sharpening, but axes, pitchforks, scythe, and knives are there. Plus a ton of churns and other "household" items that would be in demand if we reverted to the 19th century. I just think it pays to keep your eyes open. I had looked before, but a lot I used to see there seemed on its last leg or bad reproductions.
  9. How about extremely well "vetted"?
  10. I keep hearing people talk about these people. I wish I could meet a few.
  11. Man did he pick the wrong place and wrong time.
  12. I really think gun sales and auction sites have done for guns what eBay did for yard sales. Up side is that you can shop and find the best available price from the recliner. The bad deal is that a lot of sellers want what the highest auction they can find ended at. Since lots of LGS are watching the prices, it even reduces the chance of finding a diamond in the rough great deal.
  13. Unless you plan to put a tracking device in it in lieu of a firearm. You could use one of the small ones you build into the wall between the studs. It would fit above the door and be secure. Something like this maybe. Might need to be slightly smaller though
  14. I have seen these. I need to play with one. I used to work with finger scanners years ago. The cheaper register less points. To read more consistant you need more points and several scans to build the points. As usual, more points equal higher level equipment and more cost. Personally I do not even trust a keypad on a safe. I work with broken electronics everyday. It is not if, it is when they break. It usually us the worst possible time.
  15. My wife refuses the idea that I should be armed at home. She uses the kid's as an excuse, but I know she would say it no matter what. She grew up with guns, but sees no need for them since we do not actively hunt. I let that deter me for years, but just decided at a point that if I like guns as a hobby it is no worse or more expensive than her hobbies. But because of her preference, I am not as prepared as I would like if a home invasion happened.
  16. I would not rule out collusion to share the reward. Sounds as plausible as anything.
  17. My wife and kids just roll their eyes when I try to talk about it. Whatever family level planning that gets done is all on me. Not only that, but I have to keep it low key to stave off the arguments that I am paranoid. I remind them that at least paranoid people are prepared.
  18. I will have to check this out. Always on the lookout for good blades.
  19. I am mostly happy with the ones I have except for not getting to shoot them enough. I have a Keltec PF9 that I think has a lot of muzzle flip, but it could just be me. I think I like the feel of my Bersa .380 better than most of my other semis. Just feels solid.
  20. Looks like nothing at all is way in the lead.
  21. Like I said same for me. Does not compute...
  22. A Troy rear folding sight for my A2 front sight style AR and an olive trap front and back Troy set for my home brew AR. All 3 pieces were used and great deals. I bought a red dot a while back too that I need to mount and test.
  23. Something does not pass the smell test here for me. They just took off their shirts and surrendered after shooting and the chase??? Plus got up to get water and then laid back down? These guys seem more determined than that. I mean they held two people at gun point after killing 2 Leo's. Then stole how many cars? He is making a mistake being know if for nothing else than the media circus. That tattoo means he is a dumb@$$.
  24. In all seriousness, I have thought of it, but I have little fingers around. I also thought of things like these Tactical Walls items, but budget and spouse agreement are issues there. They make a ton of options including an "Issue Box" that Is a tissue box with a false bottom for a pistol.
