Most comfortable "outdoor" holster?
Ronald_55 replied to Mamba's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Thought about moving it around to small of the back and then slip it into a holster on the tractor when riding? A cowboy gun belt has upsides, but is a lot of extra weight and will get in the way when handling things too. So what kind of pests are you dealing with that a sharp stick would not handle? -
I already give you the win for calling her Heathen. Lol My son asked for a mohawk at 8 and kept his hair that way for a long while. He would spray in different colored hair spray depending on where he was going since my kids' school is super (stupid) strict on it. I kept my hair waist length until a job loss a few years ago caused me to cut it. Too many bills, I needed an equal job quick. I did not have time for the "you don't look professional" bs. Most of the time it kept it black...you know Black No. 1. I have met clean cut scumbags and tat'd and pierced hardworking, family guys and gals that would drive 500 miles to help you out. Maybe if we teach our kids to see uniqueness as a real plus, they will make the world a little better.

Is there a market for Bubba'ed Enfields?
Ronald_55 replied to gregintenn's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
Well I have one that has been cut down. Was my first rifle and given to me by my Papaw. Someone did some nice carvings in the stock. They are great guns. I suggest shooting it some and see if restoring it matters to you later. -
Sounds like you need a basement to convert into an armory. Or just sell me the 3 so you don't have to worry. Lol I wish I had seen that AR. Where were you shopping?
-
Then what will SHE use. Lol maybe club them with high heels?
-
I am all up for that....unless it comes with a deployment.....
-
That is why you build it like Johnny Cash. Get one piece at a time. Call it a spare part.
-
Tell her when the zombies come, she will be glad you prepared.
-
Nice. I have been meaning to get a .308 bolt gun. I have other caliber bolt guns. I think you will enjoy it. Much different than a semi, in a good way.
-
Time to buy a second safe. Lol

My kids' middle school bans any "non-natural" hair color. Of course all that platinum blonde is natural that the girls have...sure, right.
-
Just remind her mom that it is not permanent and much cheaper than other rewards. Also, that helping your daughter to define herself prevents others from having negative influence. Congrats to her on the wins.

Hey guys, my Dad would like to come down and fish, but does not have a boat. Can you bank fish this area?
-
A soldering iron and desoldering bulb might do it, but might take some time. You could control where the heat is better that way though.
-
I would agree. Like some of the Mosins it could have been soldered on. KahrMan is the silver on the barrel raised, or is that cuts into the metal?
-
I see online that it could have a front sight cover. Maybe someone pulled one off it. The barrel discoloration size lends to that too.

Man! I've got a kid graduating high school tonight.

I second that. Lucky guy. They need to live while they are young (within reason). Too soon you have a mortgage, a job, and kids of your own to figure out. I like to say "They need to do all the wrong stuff with all the right people." Makes the downhill slide at the other end of life as little rosier. -
Meeting a random person locally to buy a gun is always a risk. Best you can do is watch for warning signs and be very cautious of deals that are too good to be true.

I remember seeing Soundgarden at Lalapolusa in the 90's. Great energy from him. He fronted so many great bands. It is a real loss. Black Hole Sun was what made me want to learn guitar. Only riffs I finally learned before stopping. Someone once said that to be that creative and produce music that inspired emotion, you must be in pain. I guess whatever pain he had became too much. I footnoted it over in the Kill a rattlesnake thread since we were talking about metal music.

Yep. 1st pic...dumbass....2nd pic...hopefully reformed dumbass.

I understand the Karamit. I have looked into it before. The ring on the end is a key point for it though. Maybe this works great. It just does not appeal to me.
