  1. That is if we do our due diligence and let our opinions be heard. If not, surprising things can happen.
  2. Good chance that the origional coyote is not around anymore...the post was from 2011.....
  3. One more think is this suspiciously looks like a slight redesign of the $99 folding Turkish guns Wal-marts sells as Hatfields. Granted, there are some nice added features beyond the Hatfield model. Personally I have no warmed up to folding guns. Just my bias though. While not packable my Savage Model 24 fits my needs better.
  4. Recent review: https://www.shootingillustrated.com/articles/2018/2/19/review-midland-arms-backpack-shotgun/
  5. Latest I saw said 3 injured. Female shooter dead from apparent self-inflicted shot. This seems less like a random and more like a jilted lover or something. We will see if they let that out or just scream 'active shooter. There is info coming out about her ranting that YT was suppressing her. Who knows if that is real or not. Police response was 2 minutes it said??? YT must have a priority. Did you notice they took the victims to "Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital"?
  6. When I worked at the home office of a construction company, I got stuff shipped in all the time. Now that I work IT for a bank, yeah not so likely. Though I have snuck a few packages in from individuals. You could ask about "Hold for Pickup" options with the shipper, but most of the time that is a no go for firearms too.
  7. It all depends. Some places will not ship to anything but your billing address. If not, any chance you could ship them to work? With all the package theft and fraud over the past years it has gotten harder to work out alternate delivery arrangements. Of course due to the nature of the items you get delivered, it is even tighter regulations.
  8. My wife would frown on me running classes in the front yard. LoL
  9. Dang wish classes got ran closer to my end of the state.
  10. My father in law has an older one and my son took his first deer with it. I have some AR9 style 9mm "pistols". I like them. Woukd be easy to hold one into a carbine instead.
  11. You have a spotter in the foreground. My guess is small aircraft passing over. That would be a bunch of lead flying. Could be enough to take it down or at least discourage it. I would think blind volleys of bullets would be pretty wasteful if used against anything except a huge mass of people. On a side note, looks like it may be a female sniper furthest up the incline.
  12. Yeah, but since Cabela's told me wrong they sent them to BP for $15 with no transfer fee when I pick them up. So I just have a $10 bcc to pay.
  13. I love how the Mini 14 is in the exceptions. Lol
  14. I did have to have the lowers transfered to Bass Pro. I hopefully can pick them up Tuesday. I held off ordering from 22 Mods for all yet. Just had too much going on to deal with it. Good to hear the sets are good quality @foil7102 I hope to get to it soon.
  15. Wonder if moleskin woukd work instead of the neoprene? For me, not sure I could ever feel secure with ankle carry, but my legs have issues that make me think that.
  16. I used to have 2 huge trash bags full of hats. As a kid Dad took me with him to construction supply places when picking up stuff. Being a little kid, they loved to give me hats. One I remember I had was Rocky Top Materials. I ended up getting rid of most of them in a move. I really don't wear hats and if I do, ball caps are not my favorite. I still keep a few around though, just in case. I do pay attention to hat and clothing logos though. Lots of info people communicate through what brands they wear.
  17. So apparently the TWRA on 3/27/18 posted video of an alligator in Fayette County, TN..... So where have I been when this started happening???? https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2062629527097964&id=1425361010824822
  18. This all cinches it. I will just keep mine. I have extra mags and actually an extra used slide for it. It makes a good under the seat gun anyway.
  19. I assume most is stamped with the caliber....
  20. One of the indoor ranges I frequent says they sell the brass and lead to recyclers. I can't verify that though. Do you pick up steel or aluminum "brass"?
  21. If it is actual brass case, then even non -desirable calibers can be sold for scrap at a recycling center. Just depends on if the amount you have makes the trip worth while. All those are standard enough that you will find someone for them.
  22. Banning one thing always leads to others. How soon until pistol braces are attacked? By the time people start complaining about them trying to ban shotguns, it will be far too late. It is not about whether you would use them, but whether people should have a decision. Hell, I think we should repeal the NFA and I really never see me buying a full auto. If you want it and you have a clean record you should be able to buy it.
  23. Got this today from Rep. Roe's office. Guess I got on the email list when I mailed him. I don't think you can use my link because it looks serialized. I would bet several are doing it. Make sure you get to answer it. I am sure they will twist it, but gotta get your opinion heard. --------------- Dear Friend: As your Congressman, one of my highest honors is helping East Tennesseans. It's important I hear from you about the issues most important to you and your family, so please don't hesitate to contact me anytime. Please take a moment to answer the question below. Thank you for your time. I am honored to serve you in Congress. Sincerely, Phil In response to the recent school shooting in Parkland, Florida, there have been renewed calls for action in an effort to prevent future school shootings, and numerous proposals have been suggested by the President and other members of Congress. Allowing qualified teachers, such as a former Army ranger or law enforcement professional, to carry firearms on a volunteer basis. Improving school security and better controlling school access. Increasing access to counseling and mental health services. Enforcing the laws that are already on the books. Other Choose Your Answer
  24. Yikes. Giving you a new G2 should be a quick turn around. I bet they came up with some "fix" to avoid losing money. And they are in no hurry to get them done.
  25. I can get to it. I get the same random popup issue at times. Totally have to close the browser tab to get out of the ad.
