I like the looks of those grips too. I just picked ups j frame in .32 h&r magnum. I am aware that .32H&R is an almost obsolete calibre, but since this will be an occasional carry gun for me. I figure I can get enough ammo now to do me well into the future

Well as I said in my first post, I thought it was a "the sky is falling we need money" type of email. I wasn't trying to stir up anybody.

I got a "sky is falling, we need money" email from the NRA-ILA this morning. I didn't have time to read it in detail, but the basics were that Obama was going to ban all mail order ammo sales and any purchase over 1,000 rounds would be forwarded to DOJ for investigation. Anyone else get this or know anything about it?  I will read the whole email this evening and post back the details. Sounds like bs to me, just wanting contributions.

I had the pleasure of seeing him 5 times. Once at a very small venue. One of the biggest musicle influences of the last 100 years.

When my wife witnessed a deer that had been hit, I also worried about TWRA. Luckily a man that lived nearby put it down. It took me 24 hours to get someone at TWRA even though it was during their hours. I talked to a nice woman who said she would have someone call me back. The man that called said as long as you are not violating local laws about discharging a firearm, it was legal but you can't take possession  of the deer without TWRA permission. If you just put it down and let it lay, no problem with TWRA. I don't have this in writing so YMMV.

I don't care if Jenner wants to drop a wrecking ball on his junk. I just don't think it is news and I don't want to see and hear about it all the time.

how many on here were actually drafted ? I turned 18 in 1971 so was under the lottery. My birthday was #356 . My best friend was a #1, but was medically unfit due to flat feet. None of my friends were drafted that year, as the draft was winding down.

I guess I don't really agree that honking your horn at some a'hole is instigating. So if I honk at some moron that sits through two green lights playing with his phone, then I am the instigator and he has a right too knock my teeth out? I don't think so. Blowing a horn or even shooting a bird is not a physical attack, so if he decides to start a physical assault on me, he is the instigator and deserves what he gets.   Reminds me of a little confrontation I had many years ago. Some guy comes flying over a hill and almost hits me head on. I hit the ditch and gave him a very determined "salute" He whips over and jumps out of his car and comes charging at my car. What he doesn't realize is I have been working construction outside in the heat for days and partying all night and hadn't slept for 4 or 5 days, so I was well on the other side of raw. Without even thinking I grabbed a roofing hatchet that was laying in my backseat, and jumped out of my car. Those of you that know me know I am a big guy. 6'8" and at that time about 275lbs. I guess he decided that a bird was not such a big deal after all, because suddenly he didn't want to talk after all.

Most last names have forums where people share information. Those can be a help. Don't take any one source as the final word. Verify! It can be fun.

Same here. Was sick all last week. Congestion, chills caughing, aching all over. Struggled through work looking forward to the weekend to get better. Now I feel worse than ever. Don't think I will go to work tomorrow.

Went to see Steve Martin at the old Stokley arena at UT, which was not air conditioned. He was incredibly funny until he passed out from the heat.
