Too many to list for me to pick just one. I've been blessed/cursed to have a lot go thru my paws in my life.

Very good thoughts. I had not considered that yet. Haven't gotten past the shock of seeing these.

Tremendous collection! I know absolutely nothing about these old firearms. But they are gorgeous! I'd love to own one of the lugers, but I'd guess they will be far beyond what I could afford. Maybe someday I'll get a shooter grade and be happy with it.

My congratulations to you buddy!
-
NRange? I really don't know if they do or not.

Now this is a real TGO man!

True, would lessen the drama from it. So...what about the 3 daughters of Ellaria? Were all 3 killed? I'll have to watch again to see.

Yep. It was definitely an exciting conclusion last night! Where does that leave the Ironborn now? Is that Yara hanging from the prow? Will Theon survive? In regards to Daenerys and her planned use of the fleet...what's next? And how to you expect the meeting with Jon Snow and the Mother of Dragons to go? I personally don't care for Jon Snow, and would rather see Daenerys on the Iron Throne than Jon Snow. So maybe a showdown between Sansa and Daenerys in the upcoming episodes? And what about Little Arya? The meeting with her ex Direwolf could get really interesting. Of course the once sweet little girl turned blood thirsty killer could be in the mix for the throne as well. Just some of my GOT thoughts for the evening.

All of the above. lol

Welcome sir. It's good to have another conservative around.

What????

True. I started reading his SF stories back in the 90s. Good stuff, but he definitely wasn't fast in writing and releasing. He does however, write a lot when he gets going. 10 book series is not uncommon for him.

Saw the different comments on them this morning. I might try one again. I had The Rabbi send mine back for the refund back then, I had no problems with it at that point, but the recall and the lack of mags for it made it have to go back. But having said that, I don't know. I'm still pretty happy with my Caniks, and the only things that interest me at the moment might be a Sig 32 or the CZ P10c. I've had the chance to handle both now, and find them about an 8.5 of 10 for me. Nice but not enough to buy just yet.

I do believe we have probably watched the entire series, so far, at least5 times. Anytime there's a marathon catch-up session, my wife will watch it. I'll sit in for the good parts and read around the rest. It is rather addictive. lol

I thought the opening episode was a bit sluggish. If not for the scenes with the Hound, I would have thought we were watching last season again. If the rumors are correct about this being the final season...it's gonna have to ramp up to settle the story lines.

Now this is music! Love that piano boogie!

That is just gorgeous! I have several CZ pistols and have to say they are incredible. I don't seem to shoot them, or any other, as much these days; but taking my 75B out makes the day such a pleasure. Probably my least favorite is my Rami, I think about offering it for sale at times, but haven't made that leap yet. Hmmm...that makes me think of Steve Harvey's commentary in another thread. Maybe I just need to get off the pot and sell some things. -
Wow...that was just...great.
-
The holster most definitely looks better than the pistol here.
-
But they ain't Berettas!
-
Invite me to shoot with you. I am guaranteed to hit the stand and destroy it.

Well, I have had diverse work experiences, but just haven't really felt fulfilled with them. I do think there is something else coming my way. I suspect that it will show before I leave here.

Thank you, I appreciate that. I didn't mean to be so bleak in that. Guess I'm a bit down today. I've had contact with an old friend recently that has just blown me away with her story of recovery and redemption. I won't go into details, but after 3 marriages, 3 kids, one with physical disabilities, and losing both parents and a brother within 3 months; this woman went back to college, got her degree, graduated with her son, has had several great jobs and is now a success in her first love...singing and recording of Gospel and Christian music. She only plays 4 instruments, by her own words, not well. But well enough to record and play for herself and others. Also built her own recording studio and her home. Literally by herself. A true renaissance woman!

You are not alone in that feeling, buddy. I'm a college dropout. Bad habits, bad grades, and other things gave me the boot from school. Worked several kinds of jobs. Managing mini-markets(Will never do that again!), ware house work as stock puller, shipping and receiving for a small company. I worked for a cemetery operation for 4 years. I did sales and coordination of funerals. Did some line supervision and qc work for 9 years with a company making glass beads for reflective paint applications...road striping, signs, business cards, etc. Also during some of this did travels with craft shows and festivals. Found the Street Rod events and followed them for a while. Operated a seasonal craft and gift shop for 8 years. Some of this stuff ran concurrently, as some of these ran a season and went into another phase. When the economy slowed in the mid 90's, and the discretionary income slacked off, i.e. people got tighter with the dough, I interviewed with an auto parts company and did route delivery for a while. Was offered a sales job with them and did that for the next 10 years. Then my health issues jumped up and bit me in the tail feathers. After almost 3 years of treatments that I wouldn't wish on any of you guys, I was officially placed on SSD where I've been for the last 7 years. So now I'm in the ranks of the less than happily retired, read that as not enough money to be really comfortable. But as my wife is still working, we are ok. Not where I'd like to be, but that's where we've gotten to. I'm officially a house-husband until my wife retires and I get a break from it. I also attempt to help out my In-laws when they will let me. So I actually feel really, really inadequate as gregintenn says. Haven't done the things many here have, and don't have anywhere near the education and work experience. So I get a bit mopey now and then, sometimes maybe a wee bit jealous of some here. And as I've said before, I've had to slow down and stay on the porch as I can't run with the big dogs here, in spite of my efforts to do so. Not complaining, I'm very blessed to still be on this side of the dirt. We have done some of the things we've wanted to do; and hope to do more before the curtain falls.

You are all mistaken. There is no lasting or permanent record of all our purchases. Anywhere. Don't you believe that? I do...really. I do.
