  1. Probably concerned that all us wild-eyed, gun totin', obese, rednecks might just go off with all the nutritional imbalances caused by eating at Mickey D's.
  2. Good luck getting all the young gentlemen of the street to comply with that.
  3. AW Com'n Stan. A little risk adds zest to our humdrum lives.   :stunned:
  4. Sad. Another of my childhood heroes gone.   Loved the movie and the soundtrack.   Didn't know the singer was his daughter though.
  5. WOW!!   I bet that would look awesome in flight.
  6. I so wanted to make a pity, humorous comment to the title, but this is such a disasterous situation That I'll forego the impulse.
  7. Doesn't serve their purpose.  So it's not important.
  8. Point 1 10-Ring, I don't know your age; but I do not text. I am 61. I fight it every day. I do not wish to text. I can see there is a number of situations where it may be advisable and even beneficial. But I choose not to. My phone is not enabled to text, but by some fluke of the texting world and Verizon; it does receive them. And I get charged for them.   Point 2 I agree with most of the comments above concerning the lack of education, or at least it seems so, of the younger kids today.   Point 3 TMF and Raoul are dead-on right.   JMO
  9. One of the legends of Country Music.
  10. Check. Double check. Hell...Triple check.  You just can't not do it.   But some people just can't not pull the trigger before checking the gun is safe.   So sad for the families of these two young men. They will never be the same.
  11. The S&W revolver at about 5.02 does it for me.
  12. Prayers for your grandson and your family.
  13. I think I went to school with this kid....won't he ever get promoted?
  14. "Made in Turkey"? Is that a new source for us?
  15. Makes me have a little hope for this world. There are yet some decent ones left.   Merry Christmas to all!
  16. Yep. That's the one. Robert Rodrigez at his "best".
  17. I agree with 6.8 on this. How you hold it is not the issue. It is sold as a legal weapon as is. Changing the way you hold the "wrist brace" is not, that I know of, banned.   Although I am surprised that the BATFE folks haven't stipulated that it must be attached to your wrist when using it.
  18. Uncle Joe and his cronies will be anti shotgun now. Get'em while you can.
  19. My kind of woman.
  20. Easy for me this year. Inlaws--Keurig setup and DVDs                                     Wife----Keurig and I yearsupply of assorted Hot cholate cups                                     B-i-l----Haven't a clue yet.                                       We pretty much do immediate family only, as were are all old and fussy and hate gag gifts.
  21. Definitely the rifle.
  22. Yep. Tall guy. I don't have to look up at many people...but I have to stand back a few feet just to not bend my neck out of shape while talking with him.   And yes, he's a very nice guy as well.
  23. My wife got into it very early when on HBO, which surprised me greatly. She has become somewhat of a historical fiction junkie.   But the series was pretty good. And Paul Giamatti was very good in it.
  24. Holy Thread Resurrection, Batman.   Glad to see someone else do this as well.
  25. Mac is very right on the Peltor 6s. Replacing the batteries is a very real work project. Very good product, but not the most user friendly for maintenance.
