  1. True. I haven't seen any model at sub 380 pricing.

    Glock 45

Different strokes...I had a 19X and just didn't like it. Sold it within a few days of shooting it.
  3. Sad. He was a good man. Didn't care for some things he had said in the last few years, but overall seemed a true partiot who worked for the betterment of his country. My condolences for his family.
  4. I also have seen their ads. I was also tempted. BUT...have good sources for known ammo at similar pricing. Like you, I prefer to use good products at the start. I've only bought a few reman brands, mostly Freedom Munitions. Still have a bit of it left. Overall, it has been good. Have had 2 cases split in a 9mm carbine, and 2 duds, they appeared well made, but evidently bad primers. I guess that's not too bad out of 4000+ rounds that I bought from them. lol And I did get some from a fellow member in a trade deal as well. I like it, but the split cases have me relagating it to revolver only after the cases getting stuck in my carbine barrel.

    Glock 45

Should have kept the one I bought earlier this summer! LOL! Found it. Bought it. Sold it to a friend without firing it. Big regrets now.
  6. Well Done, Pop!
  7. I really regret that I was never an attendee. Seems like a turning point with the loss of Knob Creek events. Glad you were able to experience it for yourself.
  8. Lifer myself, and don't plan on any upgrades from here. So I can agree with your sentiment Greg. No More from my wallet.
  9. Yep. Love to go, but about 20 minutes into the drive...I'd be in agony.
  10. LOL! I've been telling yo guys this for the last couple of years. The Canik line has been largely under-rated and overlooked. But their value is being realized now. Interest and good to great comments have gone way up. Unfortunately...so have the prices. I bought in the onset. Very happy I did.
  11. Been there once. It's amazing! Way too much to see and buy! My trip was years and years ago. I bet it's montserously huge now.
  12. I understand you. Medically retired in 2011. Really didn't like it, but I had no choice at the time. It was fun for a while. Then I began to get bored...with everything. Various hobbies came and went. Spent a LOT of time on here. That was, and still is, good. But as the years go by, those issues that led me here are starting to cause me more physical restrictions. It sucks. But still here. God isn't thru with me yet. There must be something I'm meant to do.
  13. Missing it already! LOL! Even if she was just a gorgeous safe queen, it was there to fondle occassionaly.
  14. Just like 1911s...you can't have just one! I remember my first...1911 that is. A Colt Officers Model. Like the first hit on a doobie...just can't stop!
  15. Adding you to my prayers, my TGO brother and friend. I will pray for healing for you...physically and emotionally. May God Bless and watch over you in the coming times.
  16. That is gorgeous!
  17. You don't think such activities were not happening before 2019?
  18. You mean like those who have been standing in for Biden?
  19. Like Quavodus and RED333... I did smile at that. And yes I needed a reason to smile lately. This was very good.
  20. I really need to get one of those!
  21. I've found the RIA firearms to be very good. Have had several and really like them. Actually have an unfired(just never got around to getting out with it) FS CS double stack 9mm waiting for me to take it out. As an alternate on the loer mid-range 1911 platform, look at the SDS imports. Got a Commander size , hard chromed 45 that will stand against anything else I own in 1911. And it's one of the tightest and best fitting, right out of the box 1911s I've shot. Seems that the Turkish manufacturers are beginning to be know for more than just the Canik line. Some very fine pieces still coming in from them. For now at least. Get one. You'll be happy with either.
  22. Thnks for the encouragement. I have bad neuropathy in my feet. Walking is getting more difficult by the day. Never envisioned this in earlier years. Chemotheraphy drugs can be helpful and deadly at the same time.
  23. Went for the Navy Tristar as well. It's ok...best of a poor selection I think.
  24. Some of this was pretty good! Not all, but a lot.
  25. Neither is Kneel or Prone for firing. 22 minutes? It takes me longer than that to get 100 yards in at all.
