  1. And we have a Winner! Best comment I've seen recently on the testing procedure and results.
  2. Probably been said before, but...Can you be "Positive" and not be sick, that is be actively infected, that is in my opinion...suffering from the infection, and contagious? Lumping all test results into one pile, so to speak, cannot be a true representation.
  3. But those cheap dates are the best kind! At least they were for me back then. lol
  4. I really agree with you. Nothing else to say.
  5. Dang it! I've lost my rant again! Am I hitting some bad keys while typing with a wrist/thumb brace on? Happened several times over the last few days. Anyway, I was saying that I really wanted to be that ray of sunshine, that eternal optimist that all things will be good in a few days, weeks, months... But my tin-foil-hat side is spooked. All the craziness and idiocy in politics and in the lib/marxist/Insert any group you like here: has me thinking that we are all well and truly shafted in the coming days. Please tell me I'm wrong. I really want to feel better.
  6. Well ####### and #########! That is a turd in the making! We, as gun owners, private citizens, and any other catagory affect by changes in the 2nd Amendment need to stand a scream loudly to their Representatives and Senators. If the Democrats win...we will required to be turning in firearms rather quickly. I don't see many of us passing the new protocols. Not because of any laws broken. Just because I don't see anything but massive denials coming. Ok, not well written, but I'm positively pissed by this. But you all know what I trying to say here.

    Taxes

Had to pay this year. First time in a while. Held off as long as possible. CPA e-filed today.
  8. Sorry for the delay in replying, but things happened. We thought a trip to see my brother-in-law was about to happen, so I delayed opening the Tullamore. Thought to sample it with him. Sadly he passed away before we could do that. So Sunday afternoon, a neighbor friend of ours was having his big 30 Birthday. So I invited him to sample and have a couple of toasts with it. My impression, from a very uneducated palate for alcohol, was favorable. The 43% alcohol brew, aged for a short(presumably)time in Jamacian wooden casks, was pretty smooth. A very short sweet almost fruity flavor that settled out and was very mellow to drink. We had a couple over lots of crushed ice, which disappeared quickly, and decided to call it a day. Not big drinkers. lol I'm saving the rest for a short toast after the memorial gathering this weekend.
  9. LOL! Just takes someone to point the obvious out to me.
  10. That looks very interesting. Is that a dual head trimmer on the left? Looks kinda strange. Don't have a batter pole saw though, but these things are dandy for quick trimming. Just I just bought some Ryobi tools. The 6 in 1 box and a charger unit(separate...I didn't realize that until later). Used the drills and tried out the Sawsall. Everything seems to work fine. I had bought one of the Ryobi 40 trimmers last year, but never used it. I think also a blower with it. I don't remember. Unlikely I'll be doing very much yard work, but I like having tools available when I want them. Having said all that, I do like Milwaukee tools.
  11. "Our country is in deep moral, social, and legal trouble like never before." Simply answered...Yes. We are being royally shafted from every direction.
  12. Some of us don't have those handy little gadgets. lol
  13. Purely guesswork from trying to interpret the written language, I thought I saw something at the end that appeared to be 4 days testing and 40,000 ?rounds.
  14. First, I really love my PPQM2, and would love to get into the Q and SF series, but budget precludes that. Secondly, I am glad to see your comments on the Canik SFX. I do give the trigger the edge, however slightly over the PPQ. As far as shooting, for me it's about even. Grip and feel when shooting, to me is a draw. Grip tapes I'm coming around to. I purchased a Canik Shark here and was about to remove the tape. Until I shot my T100 without the tape and the Shark with tape. There is quite a difference. I really liked that Shark. It's a blast on the range. Not saying I'll add grip tape to all my pistols, but will be adding to a few. The only red dot I have at the moment is a Burris FastFire lll, and don't know if it's compatible with the Canik mounts. I haven't checked it out yet. Hopefully over the next few months, I'll have the opportunity to do some experimenting with red dots and find out for myself.
  15. Do you think that would also extend to the other large frame Glock 9s? Specifically the G34/35 guns?
  16. Yes...that's the one!
  17. I really liked the 40 for a long time, and shot a Taurus PT100 and a Glock 24 in 40. I know I'm a liteweight in round count, but in about 5 years, I might, maybe, possibly have run a max of 2500 rounds in the Taurus and twice that in the Glock. I personally don't think I have to worry about ever wearing out a pistol.
  18. Just to keep you up to date with the times...you need a couple of Dodge Magnum RT Wagons for your Distribution Chain. Just don't put a Confederate Flag on'em so you can fly under the radar!
  19. Last ammo I bought locally was some bulk 100/250 round boxes when WW announced their intention to stop selling pistol ammo. Hadn't planned on that for the trip, but force of habit always made me loop by the sports section just to see what was left in their cases. Found 5 boxes of 45 and must have been a dozen or so of the UMC 250 9mm. I didn't get greedy...thank you. I only took 3 of the 45 and 5 of the 9mm. Just for emergencies...you know. lol
  20. Slacker! lol 17 I think. Can't get to them all on my bookshelves. That's just what I can seen Someday...I'll be featured on "Hoarders" Shelves everywhere, stacks here and there, and a wife who hasn't read a full book since her nursing school days. She didn't know this about me the first few years...or things might have turned out differently.
  21. Gary Larson is Great! Loved reading the comics every day to see what his imagination would come up with! HOWEVER...I'm a dyed-in-the wool Berkley Breathed fan! Loved every strip with Opus, Bill the Cat, and all the gang! I believe I have every strip published. I need to inventory and read them again. Wonder if McKays is open yet? Think I will check. Edit...Yes, according to site. 10AM to 8PM, Adhering to Mask/Social Distancing Protocols.
  22. Lost in the badlands between Lebanon and Watertown?
  23. I got into amazon for books actually. But have bought all manner of things from them...dog food, flashlights, more books, 2 laptops(dropped power lift chair on the first one), bookcases, shoes, and more books, 2 Kindles, a spotting scope I've never used, books, DVDs and Blu-rays, dresses for the wife(turned out quite good actually), holsters, a few magazines for Taurus pistols, Origami Folding shelving units--another good product btw, and more books. Probably more, but can't come up with it.
