Is Law Enforcement Sales still in business?

Recommended Posts

Last week I called, left a voicemail and even completed their comment page and still no reply of any kind. Is Mike still in business?

Thanks,

Bill

Hey Bill, sorry sent ya an email.  I dropped this and I apologize for that.  Bad at reading stuff at night on my phone with intentions of coming in next morning and responding.  Trust me, annoys the wife too ;o)

Comcast has my phone all jacked up so I'm not getting any voice messages.

Still here, in Oliver Springs now but as Bryan said I haven't been able to browse the site like I use to but happy to help you all if I can.

Miss you guys! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

I will verify that Mike is indeed alive and kicking...and very busy!

Heck he was working last evening when I saw him. Great guy!

Does LE Sales have regular hours or ??

No. Or at least I don't think so. Usually we scheduled a time.

Since moving the shop to OS several years ago, I've been keeping pretty steady hours of 8:30A-5:00P M-F

I've been doing quite a bit of machining/labor jobs for other FFL/SOTs across the country but I still do general smithing as I always have.

I do still ask folks to text me before they make the drive so I can confirm I'll be around.

(803) 517-5448 is my cell.  And of course email is welcomed as well

Thanks guys

I have one of your cards I got from a range buddy.  I'm wanting/needing some barrels threaded for suppressor.

Thanks for the info on your hours.

Nice to see business keeping you busy, Mike.  You're not just on the shortlist, you are the shortlist if I ever need more work done in your wheelhouse.

I spent an hour or so with Mike at his shop this morning talking everything NFA related and having my Polish PPS43 SBR engraved. His laser engraver is totally awesome and moves super fast. All the letters are perfect and look like they were type-set on the upper receiver.

I stopped by my local FFL/SOT on the way home and he was equally impressed with Mike's work and surprised at the low cost. I gave him some of Mike's business cards to hand out to potential future customers needing engraving or smith work.

If anyone in east/middle TN needs any such work done, I 100% recommend Mike, it's worth the drive.

The ATF has issued new guidance that it will no longer rule on the legality of accessories as a stand alone item. They must now be attached to a gun and the entire gun sent in and then will rule on that specific and exact configuration.
This most definitely is fallout from the ATF losing that case last month where the guy’s defense used several guidance letters to convince the jury that he hadn’t made an SBR.

As of a few weeks ago, eForms are back online for Form 1.   Anyone else filed anything this go around?  I filed one November 1.   Seems most people in this new batch are getting them back in 10-15 days.  Here's hoping.

I am considering getting a .30 cal can for one of my hunting rifles.  Before I buy one I would like to test fire the rifle with and without the can.  I want to make sure there is enough of a reduction to justify the cost.  Anybody in the Nashville area have one and wouldn't mind me tagging along the next time they go shoot?

I am thinking about putting one on one of these two Kimber rifles.
