The greatest bumper stick in history was "Leave Buck Alone". There was a time in the mid 90's when you couldn’t drive aroundthe island of Oahu without seeing one. The background was I had some pro gunbumper stickers on my truck and was leaving base (Barbers Point) after work.Just before I got to main gate someone was behind my honking their horn and ingeneral being an ass. He shot around me and got in front of me and stopped inthe road. A Master Chief of rather short stature got out of the car and startingyelling at me, telling me to get those f'ing bumper stickers off my truck. This5 foot nothing Master Chief turned out to be the base Command Master Chief(CMC). Well I pretty much blew him off and told him to talk to my chain ofcommand. LOL Needless to say the next morning I was in front of my commands(HSL-37) CO, XO, CMC, Det Chief, Det MO and Det OIC, all of which was tellingme to remove my bumper stickers. I didn’t and caught hell for it. I wasthreatened with having my base driving privileges revoked, my BAQ and ComRatsrevoked, etc...So I called a company in SoCal and got 500 "Leave BuckAlone" bumper stickers printed up. They were everywhere on that Island.LOL I had Samoan, Tongan and Hawaii friends pass them out, as well as beingpassed around amount the Navy at Barbers and Pearl Harbor. LOL I even sent thebase CMC (the ass causing the trouble) one via guard mail, which DID NOT sitwell with him. LOL About a week went by and I got a call at home from a goodbuddy that worked at Barber Security and he told me what had just taken place. It seems the CMC that was giving me grief was married, with children and was apreacher at a local church over in Ewa. Well as Security was doing their roundsand ensuring Building One was secure and doors locked, had walked in on thesaid CMC performing a little “one on one counseling” with a junior female sailor, naked of course. LOL My whole bumper sticker issue went away that verynext morning. LOL Oh and the bumper sticker in question? Politician’s Love GunControl... yeah it was THAT controversial. LOL

Sticker in Montana. "Seceed and become the Number 4 Nuclear Power."

Sticker in Tennesse. "A perfect example FOR Birth Control" I'll bet the driver never looked at his car.

I have one that says "Anybody else 2012". I designed it to look like a campaign sticker and ordered 1 dozen and gave 11 away. My other bumper sticker is a picture of G.W. With a very goofy expression and it says "Miss me yet?"

I have also seen "If you think healthcare is expensive now wait till it's free."

Two of my favorites. One I first saw at the Gettysburg reenactment in the mid-90s: "North 1, South 0 Halftime"

The other I saw very recently in the Washington, D.C. area. A lady driving a Chevy SUV had a sticker on the back

that showed a picture of Obama from chest up, in a suit, head tilted up in a "distinguished" pose. The caption read,

"Does this ass make my car look bigger?" I almost had a wreck laughing......

My personal favorite: "Fizzy yellow beer is for wussies" (It was this bumper sticker that led to a management confrontation that led to my leaving Dominos)

Some others I remember:

Work harder, millions on welfare depend on you!
