Kramer horsehide pocket holster, strong side front pocket. I don't have any problem with dress/casual pants or jeans, as long as I wear Wranglers. When weather allows me to conceal with an IWB/OWB holster, I carry a bigger gun - K frame or SIG.

If you're having trouble with jeans, you might want to change brands or fit.

Front or hip pocket with an AHolster pocket holster or a good leather pocket holster. I tend to keep the pants a bit large; so it's not a problem.

Here is another great (...but a bit pricey...) solution from Andrews Custom leather (....link here: Andrews Custom Leather ...). Take a look at their carjacker. Works like charm if ya sit down in the car.

The big advantage of a J frame revolver is the speed at which it can be grabbed and deployed. For that reason I carry my model 36 IWB on my strong side.

It is that fastest pistol I own to grab and fire three rounds and get good hits. If you don't believe me (I own over two dozen handguns and I have had a contest to see which was faster. The little wheel gun won) try it yourself.

I put it in my back pocket, and pull my shirt down over it.

Otherwise I also have a Don Hume IWB that I use sometimes. I have also been known to use a small fanny pack.

Pocket carry sucks if in a vehicle and ankle carry is about the most untactical place of all to carry.

Hip carry can also suck if driving. While ankle carry has its disadvantages if trying to deploy while standing, it is actually very handy when driving and if you plan on being seated quite a lot such as church. Also if by chance you end up on the ground on your back, it can be helpful as well.

So to say ankle carry is the most "untactical" place to carry is being close minded. I will add that if my J-Frame is on my ankle, there's usually another gun on me somewhere.

The only time I ankle carry is when it is my designated backup gun, unless I simply cannot carry any other way. Since I always carry two, this has proven to work better for me than any other method I have tried. I know several other folks who carry this way as well. Like anything else, it takes practice to become proficient with drawing from the ankle.

I also carry my M&P9c this way from time to time for deep concealment.

Front pocket of whatever I'm wearing. No holster. Hammerless. Unless your pockets are as deep as the Grand Canyon, I don't see the need for a pocket holster. My gun doesn't rotate around in my pocket.

In my truck it's in the open floor console.

In my Marauder it's in the front seat pocket.

Front pocket in a DeSantis Super Fly. I've also used a DeSantis Nemisis but went to the Super Fly when my wife "borrowed" my Nemisis and decided she liked it. The Super Fly is very similar to the Nemisis but "stickier" in your pocket.
