Just moved here fron Southern California and have only been here for a month. My wife and I absolutely love Tennessee, the people, the pace and the beautiful countryside. We don't miss California one single bit. It's also nice to be out from under all of the restrictive gun laws and never ending regulations. We refer to our move as "moving to America".

I am a dedicated predator caller/hunter and once we get settled in, I am looking forward to doing some hunting. Right now, we are still living out of moving boxes.

I am looking forward to some interaction here.

It was a pleasure meeting you also Mike. Thanks for turning me on to this site.

We moved from Huntington Beach, "Surf City U.S.A." It is a nice town but they over developed it. It went from a nice beach town to a major tourist attraction. Waaaay too many people, scum from LA on the weekends, it just lost its small town flavor. That, and the fact that it's in Kommiefornia. Free at last, free at last....

Hello Red, I'm new to the forum as well and also relocating from the great PRCa. I've lived in Tennessee before and have visited often, it really is a great place to be if you won't miss the noise, smog, overpopulation or other many charms of home.

The transition can be strange but is pretty all around enjoyable.
