Love my colts

nice collection.  many mango seasons ago the colt 1911a1 was the only gun that i carried. hard to beat and ran 230gr ball ammo all day long.  but in those days that was all we had except s&w model 10 wheel guns for the job.

They are a great thing.... Great collection.... I'm among the few geezers who remember when 1911 and "colt" were synonymous... The only other ones were those put together with essex parts... I still like 'em....

Funny thing my favorite colt that I have is not in that pic . It's an 1918 colt that I call rusty . I was cleaning up some of my colts and had them on my workbench and it looked cool to me so I took a pic . Thanks for the kind words guys

Unfortunately....mine has just enough knowledge that she has some idea about pricing. So I'm screwed.
