Time to break out the Christmas avatar...

Was I out of the country when we decided to steamroll Thanksgiving in favor of an extended Xmas season?  It seems to be earlier and earlier each year.  I was buying Halloween candy at a CVS on Oct 31st this year and saw they already had the Xmas decoration isle ready.

Cool avatar, however.

Advent I can handle, but Christmas stinks.  Not everyone wants to celebrate Christmas for months, but apparently some of us do.

Heheh.  My family always treated Thanksgiving as the start of the Christmas season.  The cold weather and having a 9-month old girl in the house who is fascinated by the Christmas stuff we see in stores [already] make my heart grow two-sizes bigger a bit earlier than normal.   :D

Yup. On Thanksgiving night dad has to put up the tree (not fun after overeating). The lights go up the same week and Elf on the Shelf starts his shenanigans .
