Stupid S### People Say...on FB Gun Pages

Recommended Posts

I'm done with the lot of them. Between the .22 gougers, the $600 Glocks, the $1500 no-name ARs & the rampant & obvious criminality ("Someone sale me a cheap gun tonite. Will trade tools or stereo. Nqa")
it's just an utter crapfest.
I mean, when you see groups like 'Tullahoma pistols, under $100' you've just gotta shake your head. Edited by robtattoo

You have to watch the barter people for sure. I had a motorcycle on Craigslist a few years back, which I had listed for $1700. Guy offers me a cheapo AR-15, I tell him I can't do that. Then he tells me that he has a 7 shot revolver he will trade me as well. I'm thinking "sweet, if this is a 686+1 we may have a deal." So I ask him what it is and it's a Nagant revolver. Back Then I think the lower end ARs were going for about a grand and the Nagants were $75 back then. Guy was trying to pull a quick one, he just had no idea he was dealing with someone who knew what guns were going for. The best barter offer I ever got was when I had a dog kennel for sale and someone offered me some quail for it. Edited by 10-Ring

There is one guy that I used to work with that is on those Facebook gun trader groups. To be honest, I'm surprised he hasn't had a visit from the ATF. I am not exaggerating when I say that guy buys and sells probably 20 guns a month on there. It's unreal.

There is a lot of people on GOC that has several guns a day for sale. Most of them are over a new price.Making a living out of it.

I've just rejoined 2 groups to place a single 'want' ad for a rifle.
Yesterday.
I've already been "Reported for promoting the private sale of firearms or restricted items. W are restricting your account so the content may only be viewed by persons over the age of 18"

Nice.
