Seeing if anyone else used Instagram. I don't get into many of the other apps but I do like it for searching tags especially for gun porn. I've recently been using the tag #tngunowners. Hoping maybe that could be a "thing" for some of us on there. And for those of you not on it give it a try. I've had it for a few years. Just search any tags you're looking for. Like if you want to search for Glock 19's search "#glock19" and so on. Lots of good pics.

Instagram hasn't gone anti gun like Facebook? :P

When FB banned the gun groups, about all of them went to MeWe.  Last I looked, there's about 30 Glock groups and 1200+ gun groups. (something like 45 in TN)

Gun lovers from all over including Canada and Australia.  Even NJ

Since you brought up Instagram, here's a video that the younger guys might appreciate if their wife is an Instagram nut.

Funny video.

So a Instagram husband is basically a hipster. I think those guys have bigger problems. :)

Well that was short lived.... MeWe decided to hide all the gun groups. :shake: They claim it was done so that the children wouldn't find them  :drama:, but they could find all the other "questionable" groups.  If you wanted to join a gun group, you had to find someone that was in it so they could send you an invite. So I cancelled my account.  When they asked why, I made my opinion known.  Thought they'd be different but obviously not.  I'll stick with the four forums that I'm on.  That's enough for me.

Glad I stumbled across this post. I went to download the app last night but couldn't. How was MeWe when compared to Facebook?

It's different.  Navigating around it takes some getting used to.  Basically, it's a collection of groups that you join.  Some you have to apply to.  (you answer a few questions and the group owner will decide if you can join)  You can start your own group but it won't show up in their search until you have at least 5 members. (like that makes sense)  And now that they hid all those gun groups, you'd have to know someone that could invite you.  As a new person, good luck.  Also there's no news or sports that you can "follow" (such as NFL) like you do on FB.  On the positive side, when I signed up, I didn't get my email flooded with spam like FB did.  Who knows, maybe MeWe will change their policy and won't censor groups (after all, their motto is "We don't censor you" Ha!)
