tercel89 started following Glock 17 magazines
-
I have 9 Glock 17 factory magazines. All are 17rd capacity. All are in great shape and very lightly used. I mean lightly because I used them 3 times each. 2 of them are the Clinton Era law enforcement only mags. They are stamped 1994 and are like new. They have never hit the ground at all. As you probably know these will work in any double stack 9mm Glock. I'll take $125 for all. I'm in Clarksville but can drive up to 30 miles to meet a TGO member with positive feedback to buy them.

Nice shotty. 12 or 20ga? -
Totally understandable! Their voluntary free repair is what made me purchase this pistol (at an awesome price right after the height of the worries, haha).

Man, loved my FNS9. But when I started reading that it was having issues, I moved it for a Glock 45 Gen 5 and never looked back.

PM to you.

Good move on purchasing an oem model. That may cure the whole issue. Yep, rich was my guess too.

Roaneman started following Craftsman Mower Surge/Rough Idle
-
Check the intake manifold. I've found that it can warp or bend allowing air in where it shouldn't. Specifically, if its plastic which many are. When you remount the carb look closely at the mating surfaces between the carb and between the block. Motor will fart and even backfire and have less power. Not a great fix but I have used JB Weld to fill the gap. The manifolds are expensive. Good luck!
-
Also, do you think it is too lean or rich? I suspect rich.
-
I was pretty sure it is based off of how it looks. Also, the factory OEM needle allowed the float to completely bottom out today. I reused the "old" needle which seems to fully seat and the float allows a slight gap. Yes, from what I remember it idled fine but bogged under the slightest grass. But from what I could tell, it did not have a mixture screw: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6B6GBMZ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I decided to not really mess with it anymore. It needs to go back to Amazon. I suspect the jet hole may be undersized. Taryl Fixes All talks about this and I think it was him that "fixed" one of these by drilling the jet hole bigger. Good news, I literally just purchased an OEM carb for this mower (I started typing this post, thought it out, placed the order, and then typed this). I liked this one because it still has the plastic piece on it, so I imagine that it hasn't been screwed with (pun fully intended). It may be gunked up or need rebuilding, but at least I should be able to trust it is all factory. https://www.ebay.com/itm/187398740475 I may slap it on and see how it runs, or take the parts out of my carb and put in this OEM one. Do you think first and foremost I have a carb issue still to handle?

Wanted a 80-90's ish S10 or Tacoma Good shape , reliable....4x4, 4.3 or comparable. Anyone got one that's ready to move on? I know a nice will be a Lil pricey, but let's see what you got. Reasonable price paid for the right one. Thanks

Great deal!

You got it. PM'd

So, I'm about to send in my FNS-9 for recall work. The specific chain of events that lead to the FNS-9 involuntarily discharging (as best as my research allows) is that it needs the slide to be SLIGHTLY racked and the trigger to be pulled at the same time. This is a HIGHLY unlikely event, but it was concerning enough for FN to offer free striker replacements for all affected pistols. The Sig 320's issues were never really able to be reliably replicated if I recall correctly. With that being said, and with Sig's relatively staunch "they're good to go now" stance on the matter, I'd be hesitant to carry a 320 in full confidence as an every day carry. With such reputable brands like S&W M&P, Glock, and FN being alternatives, I myself wouldn't carry a 320.

You beat me by 30 seconds!

I'll take it. PM sent

I think that carb is a knock off brother. I agree oem are usually stamped somewhere. So the cheap Amazon carb idled fine but would bog under a load ? Did you adjust on it at all before moving on ? Edited to add: sounds like the mixture is still "off" in the video. Like its still not getting a good balance.
