  3. Been a bit since this is updated with relevant deals and steals. This morning I bought 1K rounds of 9mm Blazer 115gr for 239.99 each and 3 boxes of 223/5.56 PMC 55gr for 9.39 each from Rural King in Sweetwater TN. I know not crazy low but seemed to be a deal compared to lately ammo prices. Just a friendly observation for my extended family. Seems crazy that 223/5.56 has become normal at .50/rnd for the cheap stuff and .27/rnd for cheap 9mm. I miss the .28/rnd for .223/5.56 and .10/rnd for 9mm.

None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. 6. I dearly love the 1911. But I'm not a fan of the double stack style. Its heavy, bulky and doesn't feel right in my hand. I do have a Para-Ordnance P-14. But I don't shoot it much. I keep it because my younger son gave it to me and its a commemorative version for his service in Iraq.
  7. I've been saying for years that the education system in this country is extremely liberal biased. Their purpose is to turn out stupid, liberals who's only function is to follow the liberal agenda.
  8. Now that's an impressive 2011 collection. Those INFINITY's are nice

  16. I bought my first one in the early 2000s and it's been a downhill slide into addiction ever since. My single stacks really haven't seen the range very much since then. I've built several and still have a few frames and slide sets I need to do something with.

    Trigger

There is a lightweight trigger rebound spring that can be installed that will lighten the pull noticeably. Installing it is a job of moderate difficulty. If you aren't comfortable removing the sideplate and removing/reinstalling parts, it's probably a job for someone who is.
  18. Not sure how to post that way.
  19. In the spirit of this topic "planning for trouble", can anyone recommend some training sources in the Nashville area that a person could attend. Not necessarily specific tactical or hardcore survival training but something geared towards living a more simplistic life without all the luxury's we have now. Sort of like a Amish or Mennonite training guide. Not to be funny but that way of life has been forgotten by most.

    Trigger

I bought a S&W 642 performance center. Finally got it out to shoot. Fired a few rounds and the trigger is about the worst I have ever seen. I did clean and oil it before hand. I know my grip is not as strong since I got sick. But this thing is unbelievable. I lubed it again and loaded it with snap caps. Been dry firing it some. I keep it by my chair and I’m trying to wear it in. Anything else I can do. Short of having a trigger job on it. Thanks for your input.
  21. so after 2 days, yeah my favorite pocket knife, just a smaller version of the Fullsize auto Adamas in this amazing marbled carbon fiber and a magnacut blade so sharp my wicked edge is not needed

  23. For sale only. No trades. A pair of Remington 870s. These were police trade-ins that I bought back in January to stuff in closets or the truck. But then later that day I had to resign from my job and I haven't been making as much money as I was last year, so my poor timing means these guys should find new homes. I haven't put any rounds through them. They're police trade-ins so they have rack wear but they don't make the Remmy 870s like this anymore. Actions are solid and there are no defects, just cosmetic flaws. 1) Remington 870 Wingmaster with wooden furniture. 2) Remington 870 Police Magnum with synthetic furniture and magazine tube extension. $460 a piece or both for $800. I'll include some defensive shells if you want them. Must be a legal adult resident of TN with a valid photo ID and in good standing. TN HCP preferred. Located in Spring Hill. I don't travel much. Call/Text 615-300-3074 or message me through here. Pics are too large to upload (or so this website is telling me). I'm sorry. Shoot me a text and I'll send them to you.
