  1. Well, I have been an on air personality at a large radio station...

  2. If a camera isn't an option, think outside the box. Simple enough to see if it's a critter or a person, just take a bag of flour and dust the carport floor where stuff keeps moving. You'll either see animal prints, human, or a human trying to wipe away tracks. May even be able to follow them a bit with a black or uv light since it should glow a little. Or make an early warning "booby-trap" to warn you it's not just a random motion light trip.

  3. Ive shot CZs before, I really liked the CZ75B... Never really thought that much about buying one for some reason. When it came time to add a pistol to my rotation, I always bought something else... Well the time has come. The deal came through. I picked up this CZ75 SP-01 Saturday. Ive done some reading, but Im ready to be schooled. Tell me guys, what do I need? (other than a ton of ammo to put through it, I got that, no worries) I will not be turning this into a competition gun, all of my firearms are potential SD guns, so no.. Im not building a race gun. That being said, give me some suggestions those of you that KNOW these CZs. I have a Cajun Gun Works Ultra Lite54420 spring kit, as well as TFX TFO Pro sights (installed Sat), Ive ordered a few extra mags... so fill me in! It's pretty

  6. I have several radios I am going to be adding for sale. Great hobby. Nothing like building an antenna and talking to the world on it. Listen a lot and learn. Lots of fun.

  7. I remember seeing a promotional video from this company back in the early 1990s and at the end the guy put on a vest, shoved a thick telephone book under it and proceeded to turn a S&W 44 mag upside down and put it to the vest over the phone book. After a bit of fidgeting he says “this is the part I hate” and pulls the trigger.

  8. I think I'd rather take a chance on being shot rather than wear a thick vest every day in the summer. I doubt it is optional for you guys though.

  9. My parents have one of those driveway alert systems. Dad likes it, I think mostly because it's louder than the doorbell so he can hear it. Mom thinks it's annoying when the deer set it off in the middle of the night and it wakes her up.

  13. https://www.customdefensellc.com/gunsmithing.htm Ask Sam. He either does it, or more likely sends it somewhere to be done. My father was a tool and die maker before he retired. He'd just put gun parts in with whatever the shop was sending out to get black oxided. I'm not sure where they sent it. If you have a buddy who is a tool and die maker for a small shop, he might be able to do the same. All prep work should be done in advance, however, as they just put the finish on.

  14. Are you guys also members of the Tennessee Firearms Assoc.? Read about the "self defense immunity" law in the news lately, from FL? TFA has tried to introduce legislation in TN, to keep (truly) defensive shooters from having to get involved with the "system." They need more members, influence, etc.

  15. You can get a decent trail cam for under $100 at Walmart, Academy, etc. They take good pics day or nite if it is equipped with infrared ( most are ). I have one ( Bushnell ), that I run 24/7 in the woods behind my house, picks up all kinds of critters, even 2 legged. Hate a thief, & love to catch one. Make sure wherever you set it up, it's not easily seen, or they'll steal it too. Had that to happen. Good luck, bud.

  17. I boil it down, then fry it in bacon grease with eggs and salt. This is the proper way to prepare it.
