  1. Had to try my hand at a set of coins in my defender's grips I picked up. These are Buffalo Nickels that are engraved called Hobo Nickels. Really like the grips better than the rubber ones that came from the factory.

  2. Haven't been on in a long time. Been busy with work. Wife and I had another kiddo. He's 3 months old so my turkey hunting this year has been slim to none lol. Was blessed this week with 2. Here is one of them. Hopefully I can get out this weekend and finish the season out with 1 more.

  3. Because he bought a premium ad instead of doing one of the free ones. The ones you pay for stay pinned at the top of the section so you get more views.

  4. I had the cardinal problem in the past on a bedroom window. Solution was to smear glass wax on the outside of the glass and let it haze over and leave it. This blocks their reflection and they go elsewhere. When they have been gone for awhile wipe off and you have a clean window as a bonus.

  5. Ignorant cardinals and robins pecking on windows beats the hell out of woodpeckers going to town on the gutters! I have no ideas what those demons think they'll get out of aluminum on Saturday or Sunday mornings when I'm trying to sleep.

  8. Impressive results. I've bought a few boxes of the HST 9mm and found them to perform satisfactorily in my handguns. Of course, I've not shot ballastics gel with them. I've just gone with them for the reports I've seen and heard form others. I must say that I do prefer my Black Talon loads of the HST, but I'm about out of them. My comments are strictly from feel in the guns and from my own "performance" accuracy.

  9. I have done quite a bit of reading and studying on those who live past 100. One study I read suggests that once you reach about 95 your body sort of quits aging. Hope he lives a lot longer, anyone making it out of WWII alive deserves a long, happy life and from the sounds of it he is definitely enjoying his. The last person I remember reading about swore it was drinking that kept them alive so long. Maybe that is the key, sitting down to relax with a cigar and alcohol.

  10. This worked. I put one on both cars and both kept the cardinal away. The CDs on the plate glass windows were less successful, but 2 out of 3 worked. I'll put a second CD on the window she likes best and see if that works. At least both cars are now clean.

  19. The HST is a genuinely better round. It's geometry helps it chamber reliably in a wider variety of weapons.
