I disagree, I think Ferguson needs a lot more gasoline and a match.

Check this article out. http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/aug/11/oath-keepers-ferguson-automatic-rifles Evidently the oath keepers were sporting "M-15 rifles with several magazine cartridges strapped across their buddy armour." I'm not up to speed on this M-15 platform but I think I need one. Seriously though how do"journalists" expect anyone who knows anything to take then seriously when they are either 1) making stuff up our 2) taking someone else's word on the facts?

Public Service Annoucement - Check Your Cell Numbers BEFORE Texting
10-Ring replied to CommsNBombs's topic in General Chat
I think an apology for getting the wrong number was all that was in order. I would feel no need to make an explanation to someone that got that butt hurt over a PICTURE of a gun. -
That's a peeve of mine as well, gotta look Syu the good side though, it's like the guys that talk about their "clips" you know they don't know what that are talking about as soon as their mouths open.

At one point Facebook kept recommending that I be friends with a certain person because we had 108 friends in common. Don't you think that if we have 108 friends in common and we aren't already friends then there is a good reason for that? It was my wretched ex by the way.

My daughter had cataracts removed from both of get eyes last year and it went very well for her, even being 4 years old at the time. Loden did my LASIK back in 2005 and did a great job. Dr. Morrison at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute did my daughter's and we were very happy with him. Morrison may only do pediatrics, I'm not sure but if I were told that I needed cataract surgery he would be the first call that I made.

I have nothing against it, I just wasted too much time on it, I first got Facebook in 2005 and disconnected my account earlier this year. There are things I miss about it and there are friends that I don't get to see often that Facebook kept me in contact with and I miss that. TGO is the closest I come to social media anymore and it's really too much on some days.

And the Facebook haters will start their "I don't do Facebook" ramblings in about two minutes.

I'm not a big Taurus guy but I love my TCP, IMO the trigger makes that gun. I've spent some time with the LCP as well and I prefer the TCP, although my TCP needed a little bit of tweaking to run right. I've spent some time with the Bersa thunder .380 and the CC, and there is no way I would put either in the same class as the LCP or TCP, IMO the Bersa is heavy for its size, I nearly never carry mine because I have other options that are smaller, lighter, have a higher capacity and are a larger caliber.

Frankly if someone wants to cheat on their spouse, it's none of my business and they didn't ask me anyways, so it doesn't really matter if I agree with it or not.
-
You start down a slippery slope when you seek to harm others simply because you don't agree with what they do.

Can't remember the place's name but it's across the street from Houston's meat market on Mt. Juliet road.

L.A. police find stash of 1,200 guns in dead man's home
10-Ring replied to tennesseetiger's topic in General Chat
So 1200 is an arsenal in California? Bunch of sissies, that's what we call taking a few guns out for a weekend of shooting around here. -
IIRC they have a corporate policy to post. I'll take Corner Pub over Papa John's any day though. I usually hit corner pub on Tuesdays for$5 hamburgers but I didn't have it in me tonight.

It disturbs me a little bit that I think "oh I need to post something in that one thread..." And I look the thread up and its been that long since its been posted in.

My shift will change in about three weeks and I should be able to attend. Seems like a laid back fun environment that is newb friendly? And that is newb as in competition shooting, not guns in general. What guns are acceptable? I assume service pistols? How about 1911's? What other gear do I need, holster guidelines? Heck maybe I'll just come out and watch one before I try it, I'm sure that would answer a lot of my questions.

I'll revive this thread that has been dead for almost two years because I have found a boot that I love. I work in an environment that is very hard on boots. I started with a pair of Ariats and I guess I just don't have an Ariat foot as they were very uncomfortable for me. I wore them everyday 12 hours a day for about 3 weeks, so they had plenty of time to break in but they hurt to walk more than 100 yards in. Finally I went to Elliott's seeking advice, I told the salesman my desires were waterproof, composite toe, and comfortable and must be a leather boot, and I really didn't care what they cost. He laughed and told me that no one made a boot that fit that criteria but that I should try the closest thing made. I tried on a pair of HyTest boots and they felt like house shoes! I looked for reviews online and could find little about them. I went ahead and bought them and I've been wearing them for about 3 months now and can't say enough good about them, super comfortable even on those days when I'm standing for long periods, I smile every morning when I put them on because they feel good! They were a bit pricey right at $200 but I'm willing to pay that to be comfortable at work. Plus my work environment is very rough on boots and they are holding up great. Just thought that I would pass my good experience on for others.

I like wolf from Wal-Mart, think it runs about $5.50 per 20. About a dollar more per box at Academy.
