  1. I thought that the 15k one was a one of 5 know prototypes? I know of a custom shop green USMC marked pelican case for 5k. I may get that and then if a Decom pops up in the 6 range.
  2. Whelp, the used one ended at $8k+ this week and the new one may end up at 10k or so. That pretty much ends it for me unless the prices decline in the future. I'm prepared to go $6-7K. It seems like a lot of folks that have have multiples are holding on to them to see how high they go as an investment vs a "collectors item". Heck, one guy on the FB page has eleven. I have an M17 surplus that he contacted me about that matches the serial# of one of his M45A1's but, he only wanted to trade M17 for M17 and not his M45A1 with a pile of cash from me for the difference in the values. I may go a head and pick up the Colt Custom Shop marked USMC just to have a look-alike in my safe.
  3. IF/when you ever do would you keep the new one or the used one? I'm torn on which to go for. I have a couple of the M17 Surplus that are like new, a couple in excellent condition, and a couple are that are in "good". I like them all lol I was able to get the FOIA's for them all and have the coins that the FB group had made. For some reason the used M45A1's speak to me the most.
  4. Thanks I am in the Facebook group and the guy with the $6500 used one is in the FB group. I plan on taking a shot at that one. The other one that is listed is probably gonna go up there pretty good in price. I found a custom shop usmc marked one in the green case but it is 5k and for that price I rather hold out for a Decom.
  5. I know it's a long shot... but if anyone has a M45A1 that they'd consider selling please PM me. * I'm not looking for the "blue box" or "green case custom shop" versions. Thanks
  6. Have any large rifle magnum primers that you'd trade for Retumbo?
  7. About all components are that way. Seems like things are popping up more often now though. I'm set on powder but I'd feel more comfortable if I had more primers lol
  8. Nice 1911 I think I owned this one for 20 year or so.
  9. I vote Judge too. There is a nice Judge posted on here that is polymer (light weight) I picked up a S&W Governor for kayaking. Snakes in general do not bother me but a copperhead when I get out on a bank may not like me too much and I dang sure don't want a cottonmouth trying to catch a ride.
  10. Name, serial#, and that you're a TN resident legal to own.
  11. David, Is there a way to reopen an auto locked ad?
  12. They are excellent quality and used by many in cowboy action shooting matches
  13. You'd have better luck at panning for gold in the Cumberland...
  14. I was at the Show of Shows in Louisville yesterday and M1 Carbine prices are out the roof. Mix-masters in ok condition are 1k and it goes up from there. Show goes on all weekend and it has some really nice military items. I was on the hunt for a M45A1 decom, but there wasn't one at the show.
  15. All of what GF54 said and: is the headspace on all of the brass set the same. Do you have headspace gauges for .308? What about measuring to the Ogive rather that OAL. Oh, and remember to adjust your Lake City powder load down when using the LC brass.
  16. I've been many times... I hate to see it go away.
