   That sure seems to be the pattern. As usual, no matter what the poll questions, the findings always seem to reflect the views of the heavily slanted writings.   And the population segments these polls are taken in and from are far from a representative sampling of the country. Always seems to be the high density urban areas that are questioned and then the findings are said to be that of the country as a whole.

Dang buddy. You got a real good price on that. I like the 39 a lot. Feels almost as good as the Browning and CZ do to me.

I'll give a "thumbs up" to them as well. Only ordered a few times, but they are getting more of my interest than my last fav online seller. Mainly because they don't seem to be profittering on the shooting community.

  Pretty much the truth there. :rofl:   I don't have one, but I've been told by people who do that it's a pretty decent rifle. The only negative comment I've heard concerned the polymer stock being a little flimsy. I can't attest to that though. So don't put absolute faith in it.    But if the prices is right( read low enough) might be worth taking a chance on it.

  Yes, I've got one of the 45 gun Stackon models and have it on a homemade base as well. But I like your idea very much. I may be trying that out.

For what it's worth, I've had 3 Model 85 Taurus pistols. All have been great. No issues at all. In fact I thought well enough of one to give it to my late mother as a purse gun so she'd stop carrying and scratching the old Chiefs Special.

Although I didn't get it directly from Wideners, I acquired one that came thru their sale. It's about as good as any I've ever seen. Compares very well to one I bought years ago new.  

Congratulations Spots! I was looking real hard at that rifle myself; just couldn't get other things sold to make it happen. Glad it went to a good home.
