Did the problem start after you installed the new grip inserts? Outside possibly over tightened the grip screws could bind up the action of the hammer spring running on the strut. Remove the entire grip and dry fire. I've also dis/re assembled the trigger guard assembly on one of my SPs (I am NOT a gunsmith) it not clear what would bind up as described. BigK may be onto something, next time it locks up see if you can depress the cylinder latch. Both the pawl and latch have very small plungers and springs, one of those springs could be kinking up.

After each event, there are a few hundred rounds of 9mm brass, the .40/.45 shooters due a pretty good job and recovering what they shoot. With that being said, if there are any reloaders looking to recover some free brass, PM me and I'll hook you up. I'm not going to lie to you, this will be more like an Easter egg hunt, the firing line will be mown close, but it is a field. -
One of the articles also addresses cost; 9 is cheaper than 40.

I'm confident with my 9 mm / .38+p SD selections. If I need to shoot through car glass or door panels I step up to .357

The ONG 52nd Civil Support Team training scenario involved a plot from local school district employees to use biological weapons in order to advance their beliefs about “protecting Gun Rights and Second Amendment rights.†Obviously the folks who develop scenarios are in the "worst case" business. What I find scary is the assumption that fanatical gun owners (by which ALL gun owners are judged) will employ Weapons of Mass Destruction; biologicals are WMDs. Now that they are throwing around extreme fantacism, what laws will be tabled to keep the public safe from gun violence? I had no idea that "local school district employees" fall into the category of agressive 2A Supporters.

Corruption in politics? Continuing legacy of huey long...The southern Democratic party has definitely become more progressive and equal opportunity.

I've hosted the last 3 events in Knoxville and like training with Randy. If you've met me you know I am not a type A personality. The reason I mention is I don't respond well to typical type A teaching or management styles...Randy AIN'T a type A. I'm looking forward to the shotgun training as I have zero in that department. For previous attendees I'd like your opinions on past experiences training with Randy. -
Thanks G, I forgot you had a 9 mm AR...This is for my hipoint, buddy sold me a nib bsa red dot for 20 so I went mall ninja tacti-cool. :)

Patton, according to a friend the 210 is supposedly a 1" shooter out of the box to compete directly with your higher end semi and custom guns. Do I know that as fact - no.
-
I've shot them but not an owner. I like how they feel in my hand, seem to be more contoured than most poly guns. My buddy had a full line 9 - 45 both full size and compact all with the apex. Solid and reliable plus the 9 is his company issued sidearm when in Afghanistan

Jonnin, thanks for the ballpark. Most likely 115gr blazer or umc. Velocity is unknown; how much "extra" ffpsdo you typically generate with a 16" barrel?

Makes me sick every time I look at my Kahr. ..Worcester MA...hypocrisy and idiocy in action...they'll bleed Kahr for taxes and fees to operate while screaming their products are evil incarnate AND make it more difficult to manufacture and retail their products thus reducing the revenue stream. Come on down to Tennessee, we'd love to have the job and revenues. -
What should a professional charge, specifically the folks that do it for a living? I've gotten tremendous knowledge from other shooters at different venues but never asked what they do 40 hours a week. If you spend $15 or 1500 for training and don't shoot on any kind of regular basis, when the adrenaline is pumping I can only opine on shooter accuracy. I'll bet the 15 guy with practice will fare better than the 1500 guy with no practice. It's nice to have the certificate of successful completion but isn't that the starting point of continuing self improvement? Having been through more than one professional training class I urge everyone to seek out a qualified instructor mentor coach or guru and get continuing education

Want a counter-point to Hollywood glorifying gun violence? I was watching WWII in Color on the Military Channel. Invasion of Iwo Jima and Okinawa...human bodies subjected to real explosives and real bullets... -

Haven't used them with a KT, but have used both the DeSantis and Remora in the back pocket with a small frame revolver and semi with good results
