  1.   This appears to be the age of Rand's fiction...
  2. I heard 'executive order' one too many times.   The Veep has a disturbing smile   The majority leader looked ill   My favorite was "if you have a alternative plan to insuring more folks, let's hear it."
  3. This reminds me of changes with the Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) that business is supposed to file for cash transactions over 10k to be reported to the IRS. In today's world, if the amount is under 10k, but the business "thinks/feels" it is suspicious, we are required to file a SAR.
  4. What about the rest of the story? According to WIKI by the mid to late 40s the old political machine was back in office and back in business.   It speaks to the ignorance of the masses.   Let's go back to ancient Rome prior to the empire. The same senators and family dynasties were elected and re-elected by the mob...those folks had all the money and bought elections through high dollar/high profile campaigning, sponsoring games in the arena, distributing free bread...   In the modern day US, we have the same senators, congressmen and their designees elected and re-elected through high dollar/high profile campaigning, sponsoring new guv'mint programs and re-distributing my bread through the tax code.   I vote and my vote counts.
  5. I wonder if Ghandi or Dr. King would support and approve of  non-violent protest and conscientious-objectors to perserve the 2A...   In the word's of Nancy Regan, "just say no"
  6. LA lost any and all support when I sent a letter asking for his stance and support of the Fair Tax.   Urged him to contact Jimmy Duncan who is a sponsor and take a leadership role for TN solidarity in both houses of Congress   I got back some noise about cap and trade how he was aware the tax code needed fixing...

    Walther PPK

It's not a ppk but Bersa has a knock off in their thunder line. The particular model is the Thunder plus, 14 rounds of .380 same size as the regular thunder Grip is a little thicker for the double stack mag; which I actually liked since it fit my hand better. Sold it because it was the only 380 I had, extra mags were always sold out and I was able to fund another gun.
  8. My 995 carbine looks pretty evil with the ATI storm knock off stock...and shots the same caliber as my primary self defense round and is accurate and effective from 25 - 100 yards...what's not to like?
  9. CTD can eat my shorts
  10. Had to make a second post....I'm concerned the op and his wife need medical care for the body cavity searches and implants they have been subject to. THANK GOODNESS for Oba Care, didn't cost anything going in will only cost taxpayers to get it out...
  11. Call Frontier firearms in kingston. I believe it is a wife husband team with the wife taking the lead.
  12. Aside from being a troll, what's his point? It's not particularly funny or even well written. Probably just a mis guided victim of a guv'mint run education system.
  13. Be scared if they ask, "is your TGO screen name..."
  14. From past posts on shoulder holsters, the more you spend, the more likely you will be to use it.   I personally do not have one but my buddy has a semi-custom from [Sam] Andrews Leather for a S&W M&P   It's used infrequently; only when he is on deployment.
  15. Isn't it the 2A (and the NRA) that protects the Freedom of Hollywood from guv'mint  to do, say, and spew anything they want, promote any view or push any political agenda?   Take away the 2A, then guv'mint can limit all the other rights and freedoms we have at the point of their guns...of course that would NEVER happen in the USA and history shows it has never happenedin any other country on the Earth...
  16. Harvey Weinstein says he's done making violent movies -- or at least, not as violent Jan. 18, 2014, 12:22 PM EST By L.A. Ross TheWrap Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein says he's done making violent movies. The head of The Weinstein Company said on CNN's "Piers Morgan Live" Friday that coinciding with his plan to make a movie condemning gun violence, he will scale down his company's production and distribution of films depicting grossly violence just for the sake of being violent. "I have to just choose movies, I mean, that aren't violent — or as violent as they used to be," Weinstein said.   Weinstein made the comments in response to conservative groups in particular, that are accusing the producer of hypocrisy over Thursday's announcement that he would make a movie with Meryl Streep that would take down the National Rifle Association   "I think the NRA is a disaster area. I shouldn't say this, but I'll tell it to you, Howard," Weinstein said during Howard Stern's radio show. "I'm going to make a movie with Meryl Streep, and we're going to take this head-on," Weinstein told Stern on Wednesday. "And they're going to wish they weren't alive after I'm done with them." Weinstein can count among his credits such bloody films as the "Kill Bill" and "Scream" franchises and the Quentin Tarantino blood-fest, "Pulp Fiction." "I think they have a point," Weinstein said of his critics. "I have — you have to look in the mirror too."   I had no idea that the NRA and all us law-abiding, gun-owning citizens contributed to gun violence, promoted gun violence or the legal ownership of a gun turned us into mindless killing machines.
  17. TDR,   Did the news report / reporter actually use the phrase "tested positive for..."   what a joke
  18. CZ P-01? not quite to spec @ 5.03" high and 3.8" bbl
  19. I have a G&G, it's black with simple bucket for dressier / suit wear.   If I recall it took at least  30 days of daily use for it to start breaking in, now it is "formed" to my radius...
  20.   Excellent find, you're at pre-scare pricing! Why are you teasing me to go back to WM???
  21. What is strange is years of trouble free service then problems with parts that don't typically fail.   Is 3 months excessive for what will be a total re-furb?   Maybe...but it can make some sense getting critical parts from Brazil if their business model is for the U.S. part supply stock to be for wear and tear items.     After my less-than-stellar experience with a local 'smith, I realized time moves at a different pace on the bench.
  22.   I am a N82 user for a CZ75B and P-01 SDP and have trained with it for 2 days in August. My gun stayed "dry" Absolutely no moisture permeated through the holster.   Will concur that a belt is needed, you may be able to go belt-less with a light(er) weight gun,
  23. I haven't received the propaganda; what is the tone of the message?   I guessing something along the lines of, "we are simply promoting and protecting the right of the public safety from gun violence..."
  24. I bought a 350 value pack of Blazer Brass 115gr fmj for $119 + tax at GM last month which included the plastic ammo "can"   WM is doing a GREAT job of getting less and less of my money.   Note: in my travels 124gr "NATO" 9mm has always been more pricey than 115...
  25. Why should I compromise?   If I break any of the thousands of laws on the books, guv'mint is taking my guns...   Understanding that, I obey the law(s) which in many cases infringes upon my right and responsibility to protect myself and my family.   The ONLY way I can endanger the public is: improper gun handling by me or someone I have allowed to use my firearm which results in a negligent discharge or if my firearms are stolen and used in criminal acts.   I won't take responsbility nor be held accountable because some dumba$$ who also legally bought his firearm made the decision to something stupid, usually with stupid people in a stupid place.   I can continue to promote responsible firearm ownership, practice the same, communicate with my elected servants and vote.   As a law abiding, tax paying voting as an INDIVIDUAL, why am I thrown into the same category and forced to pay the price for all "gun violence" caused by criminals and the mall ninja youtube jackoffs who don't care about the law or responsible gun ownership.
