Obama Motors Pace Car Catches Fire at Daytona

Probably had a second battery wired up in the trunk to help run the lights. Looks like it might have shorted out on something that came loose.

I really wanna see that happen to a cop car now. *Flips lights to pull someone over, catches on fire*.

way to go gm.  you got your best foot forward.

I'd bet GM had practically nothing to do with it.  All they did was have the car(s) delivered to the conversion shop.  The conversion shop wired in the strobe kit, installed the roll cage, and the fire suppression system.

I wouldn't wish that on anyone who's out there risking their life every day to make sure yours is better.

Not to most officers. But there are some that might deserve this from the way they act. I had a car catch on fire on my dads driveway before. Nothing like a faulty battery to run everyone's night and a perfectly good driveway.
