TGO HCP Badge

I just had this great idea. Shouldn't we have a special TGO HCP badge made so that we can all identify ourselves to each other whenever we get into firefights?

Not only will it identify that we are the good guys, but it will also identify that we are on the same team.

Badges are much too small to be seen in a firefight. That's why I'm commited to preaching the advantages of an HCP sash. That's why I'm doing a group buy of TGO-HCP sashes. Any of our TGO Vendors willing to handle the paperwork for that?

If they come in day-glow yellow with reflective white trim, I'm in. It would be a bonus if they could throw in a hard-hat and a shovel to lean on as well. I see TDOT guys with this outfit all the time.

Should have known it was a bad idea, but I guarantee I will regain respect after this followup idea!

A few weeks ago I saw this:

Perhaps we could take this design, modify it so that it works with any standard belt (or optionally MOLLE webbing with an added accessory), and then whenever you draw your weapon from your holster, it automatically deploys your sash across your torso!

Foolproof!

Version 2.0 could also auto-deploy anytime it detects that shots are fired.

Version 3.0 could auto-integrate with the new smart-guns that are going to be introduced.

Something tells me we won't make it to Version 4.0.

I recently ordered a 2-pack of gold carry permit badges. Paid $13.49 including shipping so they were only $6.75 each: tu7ygy6u.jpg I got them because they were cheap and I teach firearms classes, so I want to show the students an example of what NOT to do. These things just look so much more ridiculous when you see them in person, they will make good visual training aids. They actually have a cheesy blue decal star in the middle which says "Pro Freedom 2nd Amend" around the circle. Looks like it came out of a kids cap gun set. I'm also considering offering them as an option to the students when they enroll, and if anyone orders one then I would closely scrutinize (and likely reject) their enrollment, unless they could demonstrate to me that they were truly logical mature adults but otherwise uneducated about the issue at hand. Sort of a "Barney Fife" filter.

Gabe Suiarez Suarez still sell these? Maybe he'll customize them for us?
