Real Snow

I haven't been watching the weather, but... you don't have to have computer modeling if you've lived here all your life.  If this is moisture coming up from the gulf/texas that is hitting this cold front, we will get snow... and enough of it.  If it is a "snowstorm" blowing in from the northwest, we will get a few flakes or a dusting.

My wife's work has already called her , her co-workers have already called the boss and said they would not be able to make it in !
I think they should be FIRED !

Lol. Sounds like a text I received earlier today. I have a vehicle listed for sale on CL and had a guy interested in coming to look at it. So he emails Wednesday and says he will call Saturday to set up a time for today. Well Saturday came and went without a peep. Whatever, no big deal . About 1 today I get a text.

"Hey just wanted to let you know I am waiting for this terrible weather to pass before I come look at your truck"

WTF ? He lives 30 minutes from me,lmao.

So I tell my wife and she says "that's either a weak cop out or he's the biggest pu##y of a man I have heard of.

Weather man done got a lot of people skeered :)

Yes. Too many people get absolutely terrified just at the word :snow." Folks, at least wait till it is on the ground before pulling the chicken little acts.

I may not be the best bad weather driver, but I learned not to be afraid of it.  Do what you have to do and if that means going out, then do it carefully and safely.

Not like a bat out of hell nutjob.

Snow has been shifting north all winter. All of the ones they call for here end up hitting indy. I think this one moves back to KY

You appear to be right. Every 6 hours they pushed it a little further north. Kentucky , WV, VA will get hammered. Knoxville said 4-7" now down to an inch or two. Fine by me, I have work to do.

None here in sw Tn yet. Set my clock an hour early in the morning but expect to get up and look then go back to bed for an hour. About 20 minutes south of jackson. But have to drive to north of jackson to work. Last year it was clear at home and 4" at work so who knows.

You should try working in the news business and dealing with this. It is different in the upper eastern end of the state and SW VA. Directed two shows today and it was nothing but wx after wx story and maybe some nascar. But knowing our meteorologist, whose done this for 30 years; I could tell a difference in his voice. Either way we're getting something. Yall stay safe out there

no snow in Memphis, just ice.  not that much but enough to cause major problems.  I'm staying home with the kids since the day care is closed.  Trying to convince the wife it's not worth it to go into work (we live near Bartlett, she works near the pyramid)

Murfreesboro has a ice, and if there was any snow, it didn't stick.  Stepped outside the back door for a moment and felt how slick it was outside, and it's that annoying, still slick on top ice that can screw a lot of things up fast.  It's bad enough in our area that MTSU closed the university for the day, and that doesn't happen for nothing.
