Why are these not more popular ,does not our military buy and use FN products ?

 

FNs striker fired pistol is everything a handgun owner would want and then some !

Comes in nice case made and with 3 14 round mags !

Excellent serrated big 3 dot sights dovetailed into the slide like a 1911 ,really well made and machines

the gun has a trigger that rivals  any of the big name striker fired brands you read about every day ,comes w  optional features like night sights and safety's are available

for those that prefer that kinda thing ..Gun has great ergos and stippling,this thing wont ever slip on you with a sweaty palm,comes with adj backstraps

and best of all its MADE IN THE USA.....

I cant tell you how tickled I was when I got the Daily deal on one from Palmetto for 369.00,I figured I would roll the dice on it and see 

how bad it really was but the case is this thing rivals them all...Glock,Sig,XD,M&P line them up and the FN will be at the top of the heap..

 

I field stripped the gun,dropped on some oil and headed to the range with this thing and the results were nothing short of 

perfect..

I too am an FN fan. My next purchase will be an FNS 9 compact with night sights. Most likely will become my primary carry gun if it works as well as my FNP 45 or FNX 9 do.

Had that deal been a 9 instead of a .40, there's a distinct possibility my wife would be rather annoyed with me at the moment.  Well, more so than usual.  :)   I've handled a couple and liked the feel, but never shot one.

Nice looking gat, really like that trigger guard shape too and concur that I'd also be sorely tempted should I run across one like it in 9mm P.

FN stuff certainly should be good. They have manufactured one of the world's priemier military/police pistols since 1935 - the FN P35, known in this country as the Browning Hi Power. Congrats on finding a gun you're so satisfied with. That's a habit with FN owners.

Congrats on the new pistol. I tried to like the FN/FNP series of pistols, but just couldn't get comfortable with the grip on them.

No disrespect for the pistols, just didn't seem to fit me.

An FN is definitely on my wish list. I may have to get a CZ 75 first, but FN is definitely there.

They are nice guns, but the trigger assemblies are pretty complicated. Be careful taking it apart as parts tend to fly.

at the  range today i  ran 150 rounds and I must say

recoil was low for a 40,sights and controls were very simple and easy to use

gun run and fed all my bullets...great gun ,would highly recommend..esp if your looking

for something glock like but without the G name ...FN is impressive

I definitely agree.  IMO, their current pistols are very underated, market-wise.

At the prices these FNs are going for, I'm not sure why someone would buy certain other brands in the same price range.

I've wanted a FN .45 Tactical for quite a while, they are great firearms. I currently own a couple of small Khars and Rugers, a SIG 228 and 226, and a FN.45 Tactical is needed to join the herd.

Well, with this glowing review, I simply had to try one. The one I tried was the FNS-9. The white dot in the front sight fell out on the first shot. For a 9mm, it was extremely painful and unpleasant. The web between my thumb and finger was in misery after 10 rounds. Accuracy was mediocre; might have to attribute that to the front sight, but it was there and still fairly plain to see without the dot.

 

I was not impressed.

 

If someone near me wants it, you can have it for $450.

Recently purchased a FNS 40 long slide.  Great gun and very accurate.  I would highly recommend them.

I'd been thinking about getting one since we talked. I like it and so has everybody that's shot it. Still kinda surprised how good the trigger is on it.

I did sell my G26 but the rest of the Glocks are stayin'.

Glocks are easy to beat,other than the huge aftermarket parts available for glocks

there really is not much about them that makes them superior IMO..FN does everything a glock 

does but better for me. Better trigger,way nicer sights,grip and angle,USA made,bigger rails,extra mag

FN sadly has no aftermarket...No bling,no tricked out sights,no 33 round mags etc etc....
