  1. The vertical foregrip changes it from a weapon designed to be held and fired with one hand to one designed for two hands. Not addressing you in particular but the industry in general, the AR pistol is exactly what the spirit of the law was trying to outlaw when they created the SBR law, weapons firing rifle powered cartridges that could be concealed. We should all consider ourselves lucky they have allowed them at all without paying for a tax stamp.

  5. That's what I did, the 16 has endless configurations and a BF option that takes it to a whole nother level..

  7. My wife knows that I would watch Gal Gadot knit a sweater for 2-hours if that's all the movie consisted of.

  9. Lage is the way to go Richard is a stand up guy, I had a M11 9mm with every goodie he had on his website, I would recommend the flat top upper instead of the fixed sight upper.. you might want to check with recon ordnance or us machine gun for mags, I think I heard someone was making a new plastic mag for them.. save your pennies for your next transferable MG its coming!!

  10. Unless the pistol is 26" or more in overall length, then it's okay, if not concealed on the person. All the nitpicking rules are simply ATF attempting to interpret the definitions within the two major firearms laws passed in 1934 and 1968. Got necessarily weirder in the last few decades as firearm tech evolved and clashed with the antique laws. - OS

  11. I'm just shocked you actually have a MA CCW permit. I thought those were pretty hard to get? I hope you have a great visit!

  12. I think it's ironic that we can buy smokes and booze in other states and bring them right back home, but can't do the same with the OTHER things that the BATFE regulates. "Freedom"

  14. Thanks for all the positive comments guys. My wife really doesn't care for my taste in movies. Like Grayfox54, I was a comic fan and was always into the superhero vein of movies. The majority of them are pretty bad according to her, but she will usually watch them if I insist. Wonder Woman is the first in a long, long time that she has asked about going to see. so I guess we will this week sometime.

  15. Sounds about right for me too. I like the PMR30, but my favorite is K22 that I got from my Dad. He was trading and got it to sell, but I had a great fit over it and he tried to give it to me. I finally had to tell him that my father-in-law was buying it. I don't think he ever knew different on it. And if you're wondering why I wouldn't accept it as a gift from him, here's why. He was not working at that time and a few extra bucks was good for him.

  16. Gus's fried chicken is one of those places anyone visiting Memphis should go by and give it a try. And as to the heat and humidity, yeah it can be pretty bad some days.

  17. I won't disagree but overall whoever did the casting for this film really outdid themselves.

  18. Smith & Wesson is doing a lot of expansion. If suppressors are removed from NFA they will sell like hotcakes and prices will plummet. Many firearms manufacturers will integrate them into their weapons. Looks like S&W wants to be on top of that. I just wish the new guys running the show had as much concern about the customer service standard they once had.

  19. yeah if you hate the humidity, this place will not be pleasant to visit. a few weekends ago I was out in Vegas at a festival and outside for 12 hours a day. It was between 110-117 each day (and sill 100 at midnight). Weather was great. Plan lands back in TN where it's literally 75 degrees, I walk out of the airport and feel like I'm going to die because of the humidity. 40 degrees cooler and it felt so much worse.

  22. Hope you enjoy you visit down South. Here it is 10:19 pm in Memphis on July 2nd. The temperature is 81 and humidity 82. Just stepped outside for 5 minutes and am now a sweaty mess. It's worse in September...bring plenty of extra t-shirts. Do you mean Gus's fried chicken? Well worth the visit if so.

  24. I had some reservations about seeing it. DC hasn't done too well with their movies. But after reading a number of good reviews on gun boards (real people, not film critics) my GF and I decided to give it a chance. We liked it! Being a child of the 50s, I grew up on comic books and the old "B" monster movies. I still love that stuff. Looks like DC is finally gettin' their act together. Another interesting fact about Gal Gadot, she's from Israel. Like any good Israeli, she served in the IDF. Word is that she knows her stuff and is very pro-gun.
