  1. When the few LE agencies that use .357 Sig convert to 9mm it might just be done. The mighty .40 isn’t going anywhere yet and is very easily convertible to .357 Sig for those that feel the need. I’m sure the aftermarket will provide barrels for some time to come. Even then ammo cost and availability is always going to be an issue. I never see manufacturers expanding .357 Sig production. It just doesn’t make much sense to when it’s cheaper to produce handguns chambered in widely available, straight walled calibers.

  2. Shooter did not hold up under questioning. After denying his BB gun could not fly that far and do damage, I offered the opportunity to do another test, right now. He then volunteered he may heard BBs hitting something, did not relate to hitting my house. Had a positive conversation and teaching moment about proper gun handling, offered to loan him a target stand and nicely, calmly said, "don't ever shoot my stuff again." Neighbor again confirmed intent to fix.

  3. Sorry about the house and glad they are going to get it all repaired for you. I hope the airgun shooter has learned by their mistake.

  4. Rentors down the hill are horrified and will get it fixed. Grandson was shooting, Stella said he was shooting towards the woods (there is a target in a safe area). No idea he changed directions. I think he changed directions because he couldn't see and used the porch light for illumination. From his perspective, shooting up hill, if I over shoot, no way I'll hit that house (if it even registered)

  5. I can tell you that I'd rather have gotten shot while destroying that demonic murderer than to do what peterson did. The blood of the warrior does not flow in him. May the foul taste of cowardice rest in his throat from now on.

  7. The majestic, biting moose of the fjords is in the opening credits...I probably shouldn't know that. Not coyote related, but Fawlty Towers is Cleese genius.

  8. I've had them get on a feeder from time to time but they don't far well if I see them. They go the way of the Red Wasp and a fly swatter if they don't get gone before I make the swing with the swatter.

  10. I will admit back when I was a kid I use to shoot my BB gun at night but I used a flashlight/spotlight type light to light up my targets. We had a big Mulberry tree in our front yard about 40 feet from the front porch and it was perfect tree for putting wooden checkers in the crevices of the limbs and old Chess pieces out on the limbs of. Did it in the wintertime after the leaves were down. I got to be a pretty good shot after doing it a while. My father was a big help the first year as most kids knew you could put a few drops of oil down in the barrel and the BB's would fly faster and straighter so put some 3-1 oil down the barrel but it didn't work well. Took it back in the house and it got warmed up and the first several shots would be fine and then it would slow down and fall short again. Problem was it was about 25 degrees out and the oil was getting thick when it go cold. Dad to the rescue. He came out to see how I was and I told him of the problem. He went in the house and came back out with a can of Liquid Wrench with one of those straw nozzle and he sprayed a little down the barrel and problem solved.

  11. I don't remember but I don't think it quite reaches up to a good 357 mag load. But, a lot of folks are kindly fond o them there new fangled arty-mattics. But, I am, after all, guilty of packing a magnum wheel gun most of the time.

  13. As hard as they tried to spin the CMP as evil, all they could come up with was more guns end up on the streets, those now illegal guns can be traced back to the guv'mint, and it's a give away - .gov should retain the profits from the sales. 1. Other than theft, I am unaware of an effort to move surplus M1, M1C, 1903 or 1911s into the criminal element. 2. Traced back to the original purchasers, who are CMP members. 3. What would a new .gov bureaucracy to handle the disposition of CMP eligible weapons cost...CMP thinks they'll make $18m from 1911 sales, .gov would be lucky to break even. I hope it causes some of the libs who are able to think, actually think.

  17. Are these Equadorian Mountain or Mexican Whooping Llamas? If the seller was dishonest, you may actually have North Chillean Guanacos. And yes, this is an obscure reference to a British comedy movie and my odd sense of humor.

  18. Uh yeah, not buying it. Good story but no, to much damage. A neat hole with Burns and speckling at entry with a bigger exit maybe. Still a good way to make a good safety memory though!
