  1. When it fails to extract are there extration marks on the cartridge?
  2. MSN has an article this morning that Neeson is stepping down from action movies...in two more years. What's wrong with yesterday?
  3. He is a very popular centrist governor so he'd weather a recall easy enough.
  4. It's available for...?
  5. During a gunfight it can be argued that your fine motor skills are diminished to the point that you wouldn't be able to manipulate a thumb safety anyways: however, if for whatever reason you have a ND I would think that your intentionally leaving the safety off would increase your punitive damages.   I've thought about this with my Shield's safety being so small. On my 1911's and Slim 9 the safety is larger and thus easier to switch off with the thumb.
  6. I found them useless, but that was many years ago. They were mostly interested in what I could contribute to their databases rather than their contribution to mine.
  7. Personally, I'd have looked him dead in the eye and said in a very clear and firm voice that I got crippled while protecting his right to say stupid sh!% like "cripple" to a perfect stranger. Stating a fact isn't escalating.
  8. That'd work great against explosive-laden vehicles doing nose wheelies!
  9. I think that you need to qulify your statement a bit better here. People who've faced a MG-42, for instance, would probably disagree, and machinegunners tend to be the first ones targeted. The more rounds thing was also due to hit probability studies, IIRC.
  10. This just in: He suffered a broken ankle and pelvis.
  11. I considered a Ranger a few years back, but they just didn't impress me. I've never been able to even determine a difference in the model years during the time they've been out. It's like Ford just threw something out there and that was it.
  12. Just when you least expect it it'll bite you in the ass!
  13. I think that she turned pretty stupid after grabbing the gun.
  14. I'll keep my Ram 2500 diesel, thanks.
  15. The irony made me LOL!
  16. You win the run-on sentence of the day contest! :)
  17. My bet would be that they'd be too afraid to do it.   EDIT: Having watched it I didn't find it funny at all. I wasn't offended either, just...nothing.
  18. Now since carriers are named after presidents I guess we can expect a "USS Obama" after Obama leaves office, right? It'll be nicknamed "The Apologizing Vajajay" and be armed with...nothing.
  19. Well, it's certainly a switch in mindset to go from welcoming him with a "Semper Fi" to, "Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!"
  20. So when are they going to name a ship after Chris Kyle or Marcus Luttrell?
  21. Years. I have been waiting over 4 years myself after being lied to for 24.
  22. I get that that's the Army's viewpoint, but the Marines beg to differ. They term special forces as ones whose skillset differs from the normal combat operations like sea assaults.
  23. That's most certainly cool!
  24. So the Army is the definitive authority of the term? Their definition:   U.S. Army personnel trained to organize, instruct, supply, and supervise indigenous forces engaged in guerrilla warfare and counterinsurgency operations, and to themselves conduct unconventional warfare.   Also called Green Berets.   So if you accept the premise that the Army is the authority then that rules out Delta Force, Navy SeALs, Force Recon, Spesnaz, etc.
